amazing work so far, bruno, honestly i thought you would have much more problems getting it back together. i can't wait when you flick the ON-switch for the first time. make sure to record this historic moment on tape or even better: MAKE IT A REAL-TIME LIVE EVENT!!!

Ok, because I really want to display the original 'Project Dragoon' marquee, but I don't want to let the 4 lamps 'naked' (without their cover), I'll do a Dragoon/Zolgear mix, see  Smiley  arrow

as for the marquee display: i can understand your tendency to display the original marquee, but this setup that you have right now looks totally lame - imho of course. it looks so unfinished - i would complete the setup if i were you!

Maybe you can reproduce the missing lamp covers with a 3d printing service like www.shapeways.com. Price Per cm³: White: $1.40, Black: $1.75, Polished: $1.50, Dyed: $1.50 (Material: Strong & Flexible Plastic)

By far one of the most amazing restorations I've ever seen.

I never saw or played this game in the arcades, so I'm just in awe.

EPISODE 12: "A six eyes beast!"

Starring : Darth Nuno, Dad

The front 'inside corridor' at the entry is almost complete, just need to hide the right side ...

with the 'delorean style' piece of metal/alu/or whatever...  Cool

See the instructions sheet, specific to the 'Zolgear' mission :

Same task on the left side... should I really hide theses cans?  Roll Eyes  arrow

Sure! And I decide to set the 'control panel for operator' on this side, the original location in fact.

Because yes, it's also possible to fix it on the other side (see the second picture of this post, and you'll see a plate instead of the control panel).

Yeah!  Cool  arrow

And here we are, all the parts of the Theater structure are fixed! No missing parts, hell yeeeeeaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!  Cool

Just cleaning few more parts...

...and checking the lightening... hey, a bulb is missing here, on the left side...

It's the same model than the one on the right side, still there, see  arrow

Of course, a 110V one  Ghost ... what means the Japanese text on it? Could it be replaced by something else than this model?

Ok guys, now it's time to attack serious stuff! The projectors and the LD players!
Among that stuff, 2 from these 3 projectors should be working, and 3 on these 6 LD players too...  Roll Eyes
...but I'm not sure at all! Kinder surprise!  confused

Let's start to fix the projectors. See one of the two projector hanger :

They will be installed here :

First one 'on location' :

I'm testing first the fixation procedure, without the weight (36kg) of the projector...

Here's how to proceed :

Arg!!! I didn't read the manual carefully!  confused The projectors must be installed earlier in the assembling  Undecided So let's back go back to this (fortunately not to far)  arrow

Of course, because I'm in a hurry and want to do everything alone, I try to figure out now how I can lift the projectors alone...

But it's just too dangerous to do it all alone. So with the help -yeah once again & again- of my Dad, here we are!  arrow

After so many years of sleep, the six beast's eyes are upon me now, finally! But hey, still closed at the moment!  Tongue

The End
