It's looking great!

Glad the built is over, this topic was getting too picture heavy.

There can never be too much pictures  ;).

I'm fascinated by abandoned buildings and I'm really looking forward for the full story (and even more pictures).  :spaceace:

After this amazing teaser, I hope we won't have to wait long for more...

I like the idea of having it back into a wall, but it will probably feel better if it was in the middle of the wall with space on each side to fill with a game or 2.. it also makes the theater look like the center piece of the room, rather than something filled in afterwards.

Bruno, try placing the theather in the middle of the room and see if you can place some cabinets close to the walls...

I second that! The theater would be a kind of natural room divider.

After some searching i found this plank that had the same thickness as the rest, its black laminated, and it was cheap

...and it looks great. The shiny surface adds a special look and touch (beware of fingerprints  ;)) to your project  :o.

Thanks for the report  :).

(what do you think of my red tool?)

What's it for? Is it a toy? It's made of way to much plastic.

Thanks for the update  :). I hope your time allows for further periodical updates.

Thanks for the detailed pictures  :). BTW: Did the console kiosk came with an Xbox or did you buy it seperately? In case you got the demo pod with an XBox included - is it a regular retail version?

When it comes to Playstation 3 store displays, the consoles are locked in demonstration mode which disables some system features.

Dragon's Lair / Space Ace / Dragon's Lair comic strip

I'm not sure, if this has been posted before (at least I didn't find a thread while quickly scanning the forum):

You could suggest an old video game and this guy is making a comic about it.

Just watched a longplay of the arcade game on YouTube and it seems to be a great game (I especially like that they included parts of the series intro).

Thanks for the detailed description of the process  :).

Talking about the back, does anybody have a picture of the back for me?
Then i can also see how i need to make the backdoor...

Does this help?

That's a great collection of arcade machines - thanks for your pictures. Owning an Atari Lynx, it's especially nice to see all those Atari arcade machines, which were converted for the Lynx.

Keep on having fun in the US.

Well done! I like the chosen combination of colours and the neon signs you bought will indeed look great in your gameroom.

As much as i love C64 and Arcade Games....

I mean no disrespect, but it belongs here  ;D

The C64 XXL is not as ugly as the examples you linked here and the setup could be useful, but - to be honest - your comparison is kind of applicable.
