All the rest / Dark Escape 4D (Namco)
« on: January 22, 2013, 08:15:56 AM »
Visited an amusement centre in cologne at the last weekend and got hooked by Namco's Dark Escape 4D arcade machine. Did anyone of you played this machine, too? What's your impression?

It's a pity my girlfriend isn't into scary movies/ games, so I couldn't motivate her to join me in the game  :-*.

Dragon's Lair / Space Ace / Dragon's Lair comic strip
« on: June 29, 2012, 09:03:21 AM »
I'm not sure, if this has been posted before (at least I didn't find a thread while quickly scanning the forum):

You could suggest an old video game and this guy is making a comic about it.

All the rest / Ms. Pacman / Galaga cab on "Germany's next topmodel"
« on: March 23, 2012, 08:03:55 PM »
I have a confession to make : While working on my PC, I occasionally watch "Germany's next topmodel" as background noise. Yesterday, I was surprised to notice a working Ms. Pacman / Galaga cab standing in the back of the photo studio.

The design of the kickplate (is that the right name for the front of the cab?) looks kind of strange.

All the rest / A short "Hello" from a new forum member
« on: October 27, 2011, 04:55:20 PM »
Hi everyone,

some years ago I found this forum while searching for the Dragon's Lair control disk for the Amiga computer. Since then, I'm a regular reader of your exciting arcade road trip reports, restauration projects and Darth Nuno's report about building his lairs. I enjoy the friendly atmosphere and am fascinated by your abilities.

Since I'm no arcade collector myself (I'd love to get a Ridge Racer and Killer Instinct arcade machine if I'd the room in my flat), I had no possibility to contribute something useful here.

The reason why I now registered is, because I bought a Software Corner Dragon's Lair kit some weeks ago and want to share my control disk(s) with the community (and to say thank you for your interesting stories and reports).
