did also some searches for the CP.

It looks like that its not only the cabinet which comes in 2 versions, i also found 2 versions of the CP..

Notice the difference in lettertype of the "player" and the "syzygy" ...

hmmm its getting more confusing  :? :? :?

Whichone to take ???  also the knobs are different..

Anybody ??

The knobs on the second one look somehow strange. Might not be original?? Nice progress on your project!! Keep it up, it will be all good!

I think i will use the 3e panel, i like the same lettertype for the players as for the rest

I found a pong Bezel vectorfile and resized it roughly by half (+-scale 1:2 as planned since the original tv was 15" and my TV is 7")

Cutted a piece of cardboard also on scale and layed the print of the scaled down bezel on top of it (to get a general idea what the size will be)

Then i placed the paper template on top of the tv

Looks promissing if you ask me, compared to the original..

What you guys think ?

Bruno, I know you are very busy, but could you check the folowing measurements for me when you got time please ?

I am in doubt about the measurements that i have found on the net, something does not look right in my model so..
Just want to be sure and accurate  ;)

Thanks you very much !

Remember that THE original TV was pretty far away from the bezel and under a different angel so that might be we it looks strange. You placed the bezel directly on the TV which is not a good comparison.

Yeah, i know that, but that was not wat was looking strange to me, i have the feeling that measurements "B" & "F" are not correct in my model..

The hole is fine i guess, but i was thinking, if i am asking measurements anyway, i might as well ask all of them in the bezel area  ;)

The weather cleared a bit this night, so i could do a little planning in the garden / working area   ::)

Before i want to start cutting the wood, i wanted to make sure that the tv fits, so i started recalculating everything and made a cardboard model.
I have doubts that the tv fits because the scale may be 1:2 and the tv is only 7", the neck is still deep.

As expected...  :-\

Well, its only a extra 5 cm. i need in the back, so i think i have no other choice then to make it 5 cm deeper.

Talking about the back, does anybody have a picture of the back for me?
Then i can also see how i need to make the backdoor...

Maybe removing the cover will give a bit of extra space ?

After i created the cardboard model, it was time to find me some wood..

Again, like last project, an old pallet will do fine  :P

Compared to last years pallet, this is much better quality and not as bended as the other one, its also more thick.
Time to remove some things that are in the way  ;D

As expected...   8)
exactly enough to build this project.

did also a bit on the cosmetic part today, as i needed to fill my file that goes to the printer, i used that last space left in my file for the control panel.
I squeezed it in 2 times, in case i screw up  :P

In the file for the white vinyl, i also had some space left so i just put the bezel / controlpanel in there..
So Robin, if your'e reading, i don't need the yellow paint leftover anymore  ;)

Friday i will bring the material to the printers before work, and maybe it will be ready after work, otherwise i can pick it up next week when i am visiting the same customer that is near the location of the printer..

Time to start thinking about the coinslot and T-molding....

Just noticed that the original has the TV tilted backwards which would make things even worse in your case since the TV would need even more space......

Love your choice of materials. :) Wood is very expensive these days and you are recycling ! :)
