I'll probably leave it in this compilation, though; it works well as a transition between the Dragoon and Zolgear tracks.

Well, I'm back!

I thought I'd post this here, since I posted my original files on this thread as well. I recently revisited the Laserdisc soundtrack, and going back to my old track files for archival purposes made me realize how badly they needed an update. The new version is in lossless WAV, featuring heavily improved sound quality over the previous release.

The new version is more complete, as well, featuring longer versions of most tracks than the earlier MP3 variants. I also included the short Zolgear intro, which exists on the Zolgear Game Sound Express disc, to transition between the two games' soundtracks on the disc.


(Edit 2018-06-02: Realized the "Zolgear" bumper track was on GSE No. 16. [Toykyle] Changed usage purpose to transitional between soundtracks.)

Did a quick search on Arabian, and not much info - I know it's in deployment, but what really shined through was: VAPS Rarity Value: 14/100... Don't ever use that as a guideline (unless selling on Ebay). AFAIK, it was not a good game, and is just less desirable..
That was just the first game alphabetically of my template arcade, there was no real reason for it.
I'll likely set DK as a template once the website is finished. I just had this as a placeholder, to add more later as soon as I have enough time.

Also, this isn't supposed to show a large amount of details on the game, it's just meant to show the game and places where you can find it.
So, a picture, a short description of the game, and a few other minor details, as well as a list of the places you can play it. Its main focus is to find an arcade, while KLOV's is to find details on a game.

Also, what do you mean about too many commercials? If you mean advertisements on the website, I can't help that, try Adblock Plus. It's available on most browsers.

OK, progress update.

The cab's previous JAMMA wiring (done custom for the multiboard) has been removed. I also removed the panel, which was quite honestly cheaply made out of some plywood and a plastic overlay in a short period of time.  The arcade stick was a standard 6-button fighter layout, and I've replaced it temporarily with an X-Arcade, though I'll replace it with a new panel and Ultrastick 360s when I get the money/time.

(I apoligize for the bad quality of the picture, I can't get good lighting down in my "game room" (designated area in basement with rug & Apple IIs) and, as such, I will not have many more pictures)
For now, I've installed GroovyGameGear's CLASSX pushbuttons with Micro-Leaf switches, which resemble a quiet miniature microswitch with a leaf to have better actuation, which feel very similar to a leafswitch, hence the name. The buttons are quite nice, though slightly smaller than those in an average cabinet, and with slightly more of an edge, which I actually like more than standard buttons. I have also replaced all of the joystick switches with VersaMicro switches for them to be quieter, which actually feels quite nice, though it feels like it is harder than it should be to do things like perform Hadokens and pull off combos, which is one of the reasons I will eventually purchase a Ultrastick 360 to use in my cabinet.
I've added in a Mac Mini (size constraint, running Windows 7) into the coin bucket area to have easy access to it, and also to have access to the power button when I want to turn the machine on.
I would like to re-add a CRT back into this thing, since right now it has a 16:9 LCD, but I don't have any original chassis, so I would have to make one, which is tough to do to say the least.

Thanks for the fast responses!

I actually ended up finding these:
They're called Micro-Leaf switches. They work as a sort of "plug-and-play" substitute to leaf switches, and fit standard into HAPP-type buttons.
However, they still are quiet and low-force switches, and are smaller than any other switch out there, as far as I've seen for arcade machines.

I have recently started the conversion of an old War Gods fighter cabinet by Midway, which had been converted to a ultracade, then a multiboard. Pics to follow.

The eventual goal of this project will be to have an arcade cabinet that is switchable between JAMMA PCBs and a PC on-the-fly, as well as redecorating the cabinet itself.

I would like to:

-Redecorate the cabinet (its just plain and ugly, replacing the fighter stick base and adding new controls, can't decide between bat top or ball top, but I have both if I need to)
-Re-paint it (It's just black, give it some flair or at least some decals)
-LEDBlinky on PC (not a necessity, just for decor)
-JAMMA wiring for arcade games (Need PC/JAMMA switching & new power supply, may have accidentally broken the one I had)
-Add extra JAMMA\Trackball games (Golden Tee FORE!, an Atomiswave (possible), other games I find unplayable with emulation or would rather use physical units for)  

I got some time to start this a few weeks back, but I've been busy and haven't been able to post as of late.
