Galaxian Theater / Re: GH-28 : GALAXIAN THEATER for 28 players !!!

Delphi 7 is actually a coding language, released long after Galaxian 3 and widely used even to this day. It is likely this person coded his video replication in Delphi, and used it to code the projection system.

It was more recommendations game-wise...

I was thinking along the lines of a HyperSpin PC, or possibly Mortal Kombat 2 on a JAMMA PCB. It's a fighter cabinet, with 6 buttons, so Mortal Kombat would be a good fit.

Arcade Lifestyle / Converted Arcade Machine Help
« on: July 13, 2014, 05:06:00 PM »
A couple years ago, I got a WarGods cabinet which had been converted to a multiboard. It is wired to JAMMA (6-button), and currently holds a flat-panel VGA widescreen monitor (sadly) and a 14-in-1 multiboard. I really have wanted to do something with it (it doesn't even have a bezel) but I don't want to have to pay for a new monitor/convert it to use a CRT again.
Any recommendations?

All the rest / Re: Hi from New Jersey, USA

Welcome to the forum!
I'm actually from New York. Good to see a few more Americans on the forum!

Theoretically, yes, it could work, but definitely not practically. The TVs themselves cost thousands, and there are so few Virtual Boy games it wouldn't be worth it for that.

I've actually been working on ripping the textures and models from Project Dragoon as of late, and also been busy on my own work.

He's right, that's just the normal maze. :?

It likely is a variant of the Hangly-Man board, but with the original mazes. I've heard of Hangly-Man boards with the original mazes, so it doesn't seem unlikely.

The cabs themselves, yes, are just generic JAMMA themselves and look fairly bland. But, there are some good games in there, such as Metal Slug X, TETRIS, Street Fighter Zero 2 (A.K.A. Street Fighter Alpha 2), and Puzzle Fighter X.

I thought it was some standard bulb with a cover, possibly.

There's probably a bad wire from the board, since I got mine from a guy who said he'd tried everything and couldn't get it to work. Turns out, it just needed a new video cable. I quickly put two and two together when when I saw that the one he gave me had all the pins cut off.

Talk about hitting the jackpot :o

No, that's out of the boxes they usually hide in.

So, it's just a normal LED?

Looks like I was right, then.

On another hand, it could be a Hangly-Man board inside of a Bug-Man cabinet with Lupin III and Galaxian CPs.  ;D

All the rest / A late hello

I realized I never quite introduced myself. I am a freelance coder and game artist from the U.S., and I often do freelance projects, such as the Galaxian 3 emulator I am working on, DRAGO, and other projects.

Thanks :)
Anyway, my C64 collection (taken with my awful camera):

C2N Datasette 1530 on top of box for C64
Floppy Drive (in-box) with C64 leaning against it
Datasette box (I even have the original foam)
Binder of tapes
Science III and IV Commodore Public Domain Series + Floppies
Commodore 64 Disk Bonus Pack
as well as the power supplies.

Sadly, the power light does not glow anymore. Is it possible to replace it?

I have a C64...

Sadly, it's buried in some box, I only have a black-and-white video cable, and I lost the cable for my disk drive (1541-variant) a couple years ago, and that cable is ridiculously hard to find... :'(
