I'm not a big fan of using vinyl for the sides, but still this is looking great. Congrats.  :)

Great. Can you tell me the brand of the vinyl?

imported this from rich@thisoldgame, but he doesn't carry the stuff anymore PLUS we know the issues with him lately. the good thing was that the stuff came in different pieces cut to (over)size, so you didn't have to mess with that. however, i found a REALLY good german supplier whose stuff is even better, because it has this air release system which makes application so much easier. if interested, i can send you the details. i will have to order some stuff for my next projects (e.g. q*bert) soon ...

@luigi: how can an arcade collector NOT be a nintendo fan? :ghost:

as i told you. Luigi is a VERY STRANGE (young) man! ;)
yeah... really want to know this, ully. so i guess you are not using the wet application here?
are you doing this like putting sidearts on? because doing this in one piece would be a pain in the ass... especially when you are doing this alone :D

nope, no wet application and YES, it's like putting on huge sideart - one gigantic piece. i CAN do it alone if i want to, but most of the time i simply ask my mother, because i'm working on those cabs in my mother's basement and she likes helping me with stuff like that. she used to be a secretary before retirement, perhaps that explains it ... :D
