Just went back and checked, April, 2009 on page 23 was the first mention of the v3.

And the whole project of the gaming rooms started way back in 2005

By the way. I love what you've done, Bruno, and I wish that I didn't live in Australia and could come see your 'lair' in person, but the flights are too expensive. >:(  :-\ :'(

Glad to see you appreciate how this V3 turns ... but it's not over yet  :o

Even with no game, the fun already started at least for one person  ::) ;)

My only fear for Bruno is that building the room might be easier than re-assembling that huge game...

I hope all goes well.. but:

So many PCB's...  So many moving parts  (ld players)  projectors.. (do you have relacement lamps?)  So many parts of the theatre stored in many places (that are not climate controlled)  and lets not forget remembering how to put it all back together!!!!

Also, be sure to clean each piece very well before assembling, keep the dust and nasty little bugs out of the new room!  :D

I've been watching you build your gamerooms since V1 and V2, and this V3 is looking absolutely gorgeous. As someone who contracted very little with my gameroom and did a lot of the work myself, I must say I am impressed with how much work you've done on your own. It's definitely a good feeling. Can't wait to see it all filled up along with the Galaxian Theater assembly and other various games.

At first glance at the top of this photo it looks like some one 'crouched' down with a white carrier bag over their head...very sinister

But then I looked closer, its a black refuse bag with a white bag sticking out of the top

V3 is coming along superb Bruno, top work  8)

Ok let's progress on this story. Now the carpet is applied, it's time to put skirting boards.
First, around the door.

Before :

After :

...and the rest of the room

...everywhere where there is an edge

Yes, my wife is helping me :)

Done :

Now, it's time to play with the lighting... dozens of colors combinations  to test...

Well, I guess I'll wait until the cabinets will be there, before selecting the right colors...

Looking good! I love the color combinations. Your lighting ideas should work out very well too.

Of course, there's never enough pictures of your wife helping. Feel free to share more of that too. ;)
