THis time, it'll be a small trip... only 150km to drive... and I'm staying in my country  



9° C ... ok for today ... two days ago, it was snowing in Belgium 



For my archives : 45506 km before departure 



First, I've to pick up the team members 

- Burt (my wingman in the epic Galaxian3 Theater story)
- Sam "Galaxian3 Theater & Pole Position parts keeper"

 

Yes, this time I need help because the new toy weighs 310 kg

The cockpit moves... because of the right hydrolic piston who doesn't lock the cockpit/seat ?!  But it's not a problem ... just a little bit scary to see



Because I've no more room to keep the new games at home, I'll put this new toy in the Pat's house   



He discovers the 'monster'

A last thing to do : removing the coins box 



The game is now in a safe place... I won't be able to work on it these coming month... I must finish the new gameroom first...

Nope... unfortunately  Here's the full story :

The Nuno's Lair v2 is ready for games. The location I've choose for that HUGE G-LOC will be the back of the room, so it's the first game to put before the others ones.

With the help of few colleagues (also called 'The Golimar Team'  ), it's the D-Day, get ready 



The games is in storage since one years on the Pat's garage 



(Hey... it reminds me... I also have that APB to bring back, but not today.)

Back @ home :



Unloading the cockpit... not easy because it's VERY heavy 



Now the big thing. As you can see , the cockpit tilts on the left side 

The width of its base is 100 cm BUT because the cockpit in not in its middle position, it's more than 102 
And the width of my door is 102 cm... so impossible to enter the cockpit like that 
According the seller of the game, the cockpit goes in the middle position time to time. So I'll plug the game here, outside, and cross the fingers ... you can see the result of several power off/on in the previous youtube video.

No luck this time. The game starts but not the hydraulic part. The cockpit is still in that 'bad' position... on the left 
So we tried to push manually the cockpit in order to bring it back on its middle position, but it doesn't move at all !!!
Ok, no more choice ... we have to disassemble it here  Let's go 







The main cockpit part is now removed...



..but it still too large...because of the monitor bezel/HP :



Let's remove it :



ArgHHH... still to large, because of the seat now   



It should be fine now 



Yes...it's ok now. Maximum protection for the new carpet of course 



The G-Loc is now inside the V2

OK, so it's now the perfect time for a little clean up of the dismantled plastic parts  :

In order to clean the cockpit, let's use this 'Cockpit Cleaner'  Logical isn't it ? 



Let's clean also ...the 'marquee' ?

Remember :

So we spent hours to disassemble it in order to enter it into the V2.

I've just check inside the hydraulic mechanism 



... and I turn MANUALLY that pulley (the wheel)...



...and guess what ? it moves the entire cockpit to the left or to the right...why I didn't check that *first* 

OK, so now... it on the normal/middle position
