Wow, EPIC!!   Space Ace

If you don't find a wire to fit into the connector....it might be a GROUND wire to be attached to the pin in the green circle?? Huh?

This may seem like an annoying question for you, Bruno, but when do you think you'll have this project completed?

Oh, and mention it to Scr33n that he should scratch build one of these, it could be interesting Cheesy

EPISODE 08: "Like a huge Meccano"

Starring : Darth Nuno

The 6 gun base assy' are all connected to the 3 'control box'. Here's one of the six connectors, located at the rear side of a'control box' :

2 connectors per 'control box' simply means... 6 connectors for 6 gun base assy', sounds good, huh!  Cool
They all need a good cleaning...

In the middle of the 'control box' located ...in the 'middle' (between player #3 and #4), you can see the connectors used to plug power/sound/video...

...that will go to the front of the theater, inside the 'central tunnel' here...

...via these two HUGE cables...

...now un-boxed...

...and connected!  Cool  arrow

See these parts...

Like a huge Meccano! Here's what to do with them  arrow

Yes, they will fix the three 'bases' together...

Done!  arrow

Here's an other huge part :

It's called 'side pillar'. Now on location  arrow

All the front base has to be push against the 6 gun base assy', which must be also pushed against the three control boxes.
So, it's now time to push & connect the 6 gun base assy' to the control boxes, like this  arrow

Done!

Before pushing all the front base against the 6 gun base assy, I have to fix the last part of the left wall...done!  arrow

I decided to become 'blood brother' with that machine... nan  Tongue I stuck my finger when moving alone the front base part... nothing at all!

Darth Nuno : Left Side Pillar...do you hear me?
SP : Yes, my master.

Darth Nuno : Rise!  Grin

I decide to connect the front base to the rest of the Theater now, before it will be to heavy for moving it on my carpet :

Wow... now we can really start to 'size' the monster!  Tongue Kiss

The End

Looking at your last pic :

I think it maybe looks better for the room to leave the side panels out  Roll Eyes

I kinda like the idea of keeping it more "open concept".  You have full control of lighting in your arcade room, something a lot of locations didn't have where these monsters were installed.  Air/heat/cooling will circulate better, and it will make your arcade room look/feel bigger.

On a side note, I can imagine 20 years down the road when this monster is taken apart for renovation/move/fill in the blank, the carpet under it would still be perfectly brand new compared to the rest of the room!   lol
