Tough decision for sure.
And not uncommon if you consider the overall "art" world...
Most great collectors want their cherished colletors' item (paintings, statues, coins, unique camembert boxes etc...) to go to a museum because they feel the museum will properly take care of them, after their death most of the time :)
Dreaming of a Namco Galaxian waiting in a barn for me... somewhere! A Nintendo Sheriff would also make me happy. And a SNK Sasuke Vs Commanders or a SEGA Samurai... Argh too many; in fact!

Every time I look at the AgraGames website, the opening date keeps changing. Now August 2020?
I just hope one day (soon) to play Galaxian Theater (and R360...), I was already out of the arcade scene when they arrived first time around.

It's sad that there was never a good party with people from this forum to enjoy that beast and all of your other machines.....

IIRC Eurocade kind of interfered with some plans you had in this direction and I had hoped you would have jumped in the gaping hole that Eurocade left Bruno.

Sad to see this machine go from your awesome home arcade. I agree with Patrick....that museum is a great idea....but it doesn't look like it will ever open its doors....

It has always been my dream to visit. I would pay almost anything for a plane ticket if there's ever an Eurocade in the Nuno's Lair.  :spaceace:

Hope they open soon so more folks can get a chance to play G3. I have no idea if I'll ever find myself in the Netherlands at any point but if I do and they're open...I know where I'm gonna be, haha

Holy shit!
I totally missed that you let the G3 go..
Sad indeed, but I totally understand your logic, also good that a ton of people can now play this beast of a game!

So, what now? do you have enough cab's to fill in the G3's place? I imagine you have plenty of room now?

yes... I must admit I miss the G3 a little bit... but... I really wish to meet it again soon in NL.... I really wish they will re-assemble it as soon as possible!
So yeah, plenty of free space since. But the 'V3 room' is full of games now, and with enough of free space between them. I'll post few pictures as soon as it finished  8)

My feeling is that Andre's hunch is happening, so dont set your hopes to high Bruno..

....that museum is a great idea....but it doesn't look like it will ever open its doors....

Better have sold it to a place that is already open for public..
But thats JMHO.
