This picture in amazing, it's like this gun shooter game has been at this place during my whole life! I mean, I remember this game when I was 6 or 8 years old, and I'm 38 now and it still lives, wow!

I'm happy.... just got an other SONY spare projector, which looks in an amazing condition!
Good timing, because the left one in place inside the Theater (yes, the one I've replaced less than one year ago) starts to have some issues
...
So can't wait to plug & test this one

Well, today is the 8th anniversary of this road trip
So why not adding few exclusive (or high res) pictures... of ... mhhhmm, let's say the hard time we had during these crazy two days and so,...
We absolutely had no idea about how to dismantle a such beast...
Moving these SONY projectors was (and still is btw) a nightmare!
Cleaning parts in the middle of the night after 24 hours (day 1) of crazy work wasn't the coolest thing to do...
...but was mandatory before to 'invade' the Sam's garage for stocking the first load of parts
Hard time on the first gun/seat assembly' ...
...but we finally beat that beast!
Now, you all follow my instructions, right?!
So tired...
Also invading my mom's house!
Well, why Namco didn't make smaller parts here? Not easy to handle them inside a small house? My guess this is the first time a Galaxian Theater part is partially inside a water room
Really big & heavy parts... no... this game is definitively not made for an home usage!
When all this shit is gonna end?!
Moving heavy parts alone was not a great memory...
Why this game is a SIX players game? 6 times more work!
Well, sometime got the help of my wife...
Why? Why the hell why choosing my attic to store most of the parts? huh?
Sam is now afraid each time I visit him... no more Galaxian3 parts, man... don't worry!
Anyway... yes ... hard time... but still GREAT MEMORIES !!!
oh, and I forget to say... NAMCO RULEZ!!!

UPDATE: Yet another opening of the warehouse... for the 3rd time.
UPDATE 2: Looks like the warehouse is closing down for maintenance on the arcades, especially GALAXIAN3; something about the monitors suffering a fatal crash or something like that.
It's been several long years, but the Galaxian Theater is restored to its finest. No wonder you still have those high quality pictures. Keep up the good work here.
Btw, The Arcade Game Museum Plan Warehouse that UGSF-west had been working on for many years is finally open.
http://island.geocities.jp/ugsf_west/
It's opening time is from 10:00 to 17:30
Now this is getting interesting...

I'd still like to visit Bruno briefly and try out the Galaxian3, but I've not had any opportunity to travel in these parts of europe yet. Last summer we went on a europe-trip but that was from Berlin via Poland and some more eastern states, then swiss and germany, to finally stay in Paris two weeks. Now Camilla doesn't want to go on holiday in europe more so I'm not sure when I can come by Bruno's.
Maybe I'll just pack a bag and rent a car for a few days.

Once again, we went last month (June 2017 for the records) at that place.
As already showed, the game room hosts an indoor mini golf
This "SPORLAND" game room is quite huge... so if you exclude what had become the 'mini golf', here's the second part/entrance of the building
...now the third part ... what the hell?
...and finally the fourth part ... same fate?
I do not understand what's written here, but I seriously doubt they are doing such hard work to transform the current arcade rooms...
Ok, let's go in, via the Goolfy entrance...
Here's the Galaxian3 Theater6 spot
...and the famous lift, which came back to its original red color
As expected, due to the work 40% of the surface is no more available.
For the rest, it's mostly redemption games...which is not a problem at all for my daughter
Ah, tried for the first time this Pac-Man/Galaga
Funny, but the 'refresh rate' on that game sucks : the movements are not smooth at all...
Anyway, this was my '10th anniversary' report. I really hope this game room will still open...so many memories here...and not only because of this Galaxian3...
