Ok, let me give it a try  :)

In my opinion there is a problem in the signalhandling for B. R and G seem to be present, but they are heavily outshined by B.
Is this visible even if the signal line is disconnected? Put the Drive-adjuster in the middle position. Then all three Cutoff-adjustors on minimum, so that you have the highest voltage at the cathodes.
The picture has to be dark, B will not be high enough at the cathode... color output state (?!) defect? Or maybe a transistor in front of it...

Hi,

not sure if this is what you are looking for, but there is a pinball museum in Neuwied, Germany: http://www.flippermuseum.eu/ They have more than 150 pinballs in there, but you have to pay per game. You need to buy Deutsche Mark and you can get them cheaper if you buy more, but it still gets quite expensive very fast. Otherwise, it's a great location and they have really cool machines.

Furthermore, there is a company named Solf. They have amusement halls mostly for gambling machines in the area of Bonn and Cologne, but they also have a few pinballs (up to 3 - 4 per hall) and some Naomis and also dedicated arcade cabs in there. http://www.solf.de/01_spielstaetten/index.html
The one at the Friedensplatz in Bonn has three pinballs, a 4 player Outrun 2, a Twin Sega Rally 3, some lightgun games (I think there was a House of the Dead 4 and Ghost Squad) and some Naomis with Soccer and Tennis Games. Pinballs have been Spider-Man, Medieval Madness and Pirates of the Caribean.
The other amusement halls also have some pinballs and arcades, but I don't know which.
It's not something worth to go there only for this, but if you are near by, it is definitely worth a visit.

The Splatterhouse version on the FM Towns is really good!

A friend of mine collects obscure japanese computers. I played it at his place. He made a website with some information about the systems, but it is in german: http://japan-retro.de/

Jepp.. at least for another two months. You will not believe it, but I've finished my studies :D Now I am looking for a nice job. Got an offer from SB already, so it is possible that I stay here for a little longer.
Anyway, we need to sort that out soon! You're living so close and we haven't met in person!

Nice collection, Mr. Laschek! I definitely need to visit you some day :)

WOW nice story!! Thanks for sharing! You both live very close to me.. I'm located in Saarbrücken. Nice to know that there is a good video game shop in Trier. Shops like these are rare these days. I don't like Gamestop and the likes. I have been there at the Porta Nigra not that long ago, but haven't noticed the shop. Dammit!
Tyrem: I need to visit you and your shop to do some shopping (and maybe play some Moon Patrol :))!

@Bruno: Good luck with the repair of your KFM! Does this thing work? I've never seen the Arcade version, but I loved it on my Gameboy! :D

Btw.: Love the topic of this thread :)

Hi,
besides the Retro Gamers, there is also For Amusement Only which is located in Rodenbach near Frankfurt/Main in Germany. This is actually not that far away from Karlsruhe. Infos on their german webpage here: http://foramusementonly.de/ These people over there are really nice and they have a huge collection! Unfortunately it is only opened on day in the month, but maybe you can write them a mail and ask if there is any possibility to visit that place.

There is also a Pinball museum in Neuwied which is at the Rhine between Bonn and Koblenz: www.flippermuseum.eu
And there is a Pinball museum in Schwerin: http://extraball.de/

Saturn - Sega Rally Championship!!

MSX - Space Manbow

X68000 - Nemesis '90 Kai

We're currently playing Metal Gear for the MSX with a few people together and that game is really hard and sometimes very annoying. There are parts which you simply can't solve without a walkthrough, because you have to find walls that can be destroyed in the whole maze to find needed items, then you enter a truck and it carries you back to the beginning and so on.. quite good game but really really hard and frustrating.

Space Manbow instead really surprised me, because it scrolls smoothly (for an MSX game) and is really a lot of fun to play!

Hi!
Wow that really is a nice collection that you have there :) And I totally agree: Sega Rally is the best Arcade Racer around! I truly love this game and some day I will also own the cab shown here: http://www.thebasementarcade.com/roadtrips15.htm for sure :) I played it hours and hours on the saturn.
Anyway: have fun here! :)

WOW, this is a really nice cab. I played on a Blast City one time and I really liked it. Does the screen have any burns? I think it's hard to get a Blast City in Europe without burns. Nonetheless, this Cab is really cool! Gz!!

Yeah this came out really really nice.  :spaceace: What a beauty!!! Have fun playing it :)

Yeah I really like it! This is very nice illuminated!

And I would definitely mod the XBox. I have done this myself by installing a Mod-Chip and a big Harddrive. This is easy to do and there are really really good tutorials for that. I use the XBox as my Media Center.. looking DVDs with it and movies from my PCs Harddrive via Network, playing lots of emulators and XBox games with it, everything on the Harddrive. This is way better than using a PC for Emulation because the Gamepad really rocks! And its fast and easy. If you want to know more, I can provide you some information about it.
