Our short vacation in Vienna
« on: October 10, 2010, 08:18:13 PM »
We've been in Vienna(Wien), Austria this weekend and visited Prater, the beautiful amusement park in the heart of the city.
Some pics from the tour:
Near the entrance we've met Mr.Crazy Kong ;D

My girlfriend found a new friend:

A horeseracing game, it was a great fun

Scarface's place

The usual pinballs

The guys behind the beertaps were quite busy

André, please skip this pic! ;D

Nice, I remember that game from a place called Liseberg in Sweden. It was fun to play (throwing a ball in a hole to push the horse to move). Anybody know the name of the game? Thought I never was going to see that agian  :)

The end of your diet ? ;) ;D

I wouldn't call that the "usual" pinballs ! A line-up like that "in the wild" is VERY rare these days ! What was the condition of the games ? Did you play the NBA ? I like it a lot, it's almost a direct copy of Space Jam but who cares :)

Just a short break, I didn't want to starve on my vacation! ;D
The pinballs were in surprisingly great condition,  I tried out only Elvis and Addams Family, the NBA  was also there in the Night of Pinballs, I played about 20 games on it! ;)

That sounds like one of the fine culinary treats of our easter neighbours......  ;D ;D ;D

I thought it was an oversized "bolus".

A bolus is a Dutch speciality (from the provence Zeeland), it's basically sugared bread in the shape of a well...you know....

Tastes great and they're very sticky.

Hehehe, you are right, but I woke up at 6 that day, drove 250 kilometers, had a 6 hours long sightseeing tour mostly on foot, made the necessary clothes shopping tour for my Gf., and ate that half pig with 4 beers, so it was the only way I can play! ;D ;D ;D
