World of Arcade: you better avoid it.
« on: December 07, 2009, 04:43:25 PM »
Does someone know if something is going on over there. I ordered and paid for an original Pooyan PCB with jamma adapter on 20 October, but I still haven't the reiceived the PCB yet. On 14 November Stefan told me in person at the gaming party that he did send it to Belgium by accident (a bit strange, I already bought more items from him in the recent past), but he got the PCB back and it was on its way to me since a few days.

It's now 7 december and still nothing received yet.  :( I e-mailed him a few times the last few weeks and asked him for a tracking number, and also for a new possible order, but I don't get a response at all. I don't want to call him yet, that will only cost me extra money, I just can't understand this radio silence, and why it is taking so long for the PCB to arrive.  ???

michael and i could tell you endless stories about stefan and all the promises he has made and broken over the last couple of weeks. let me just say this: he's working on something BIG right now, so he's extremely stressed out, that's why it's sheer luck to get an answer from him at the moment. EVEN if he tells you he'll send something out, i wouldn't bet on it. just be patient, things will work out eventually, but it may take a little bit longer!

I ordered a couple of things from Stefan (2 pcb’s and a Jamma adaptor), and he always delivered.
It takes a little bit longer than other company’s but everything always worked out.

Pooyan is a really great game, it will be worth the wait

I did order more things from him in the past, and it usually took about 2 weeks after payment to arrive. But this time it's already 7 weeks, and counting.

@superully, what's the BIG thing?

It's two months now that I paid for a stock Pooyan PCB and I still haven't got it. I don't count on it that I ever will, also because he doesn't react properly on my e-mails. Too bad, but it seems that Stefan is way too much over his head with something 'BIG', and he is forgetting his customers. I asked for a 100% refund today, but I doubt that he will react any time soon.

Let this be a warning for other buyers.  >:(

I bought a Double Pong machine off him a few years ago. It took me nearly a year to get my money back from him as he never sent it and would only occasionaly reply to emails!

I must say i've bought 3 other machines from him before this time and then one after and everything went well.

Pick up is the best strategy I guess. Bought my Meteor from him.

I suppose so, but that would be a bit expensive for a game PCB.

i'll tell you what: i'm going to stefan's place at the beginning of the coming week, i'll ask him to ship the PCB in person or to give it to me so that i can ship it myself.

Great, I appreciate it. Thanks. But you shouldn't ship it yourself unless you get the shipping money from Stefan as I already paid for that.

Oh, and I also bought the jamma adapter with it.
