Hypothetical at the moment - does anyone in the Rotterdam are have storage that I could park a Roby cabaret, Roby cocktail and Vanguard upright at for a period of 3-8 weeks.  My options are either :

  • Meet Thomas at Calais next week and transport myself to UK (not practical cost and mileage wise)
  • Have them stored in Berlin till next container comes and ship to UK en masse then
  • Have them dropped off in Rotterdam area to someone with storage for a few weeks and ship them into my apartment till I can get them back to UK myself by ferry / car.  Car would ideally be a hatchback type that can take a full size upright on 1 trip and the Roby cabaret and cocktail on the next.

All this is of course assuming that there are cabs going to the Rotterdam area.

i guess he was on the road. it is quite a journey from berlin to trier and back. he gave me my date 10 days ago.

The red DK would be mine  ;D ;D He dropped it (plus a new monitor for my Pengo) of around 8 and was quickly on his way to Belgium to deliver a blue DK. Thank you, Thomas! Fired it up and it plays like a dream and I am as happy as a little boy on Christmas!
