I hope that "Nemo" didn't bring more delay in shipping the container.

Unfortunately not. There are strikes in the US harbours delaying everything. Seriously. Strikes in the US!

I just had a call with Dachser Germany and am working with them to nail the final shipping date. As of now, the container is supposed to be loaded this week friday. I will know exactly tomorrow most probably.

Keep you posted.

Unions are actually quite powerful in the US. I too was surprised about that as I always thought it was "each for himself" over there but in certain sectors that is definitely not the case.

True. Now I think about it there was this huge screen writers strike some years ago. Anyways, I am directlzy working with Dachser Germany now, which is going much smoother. The guy I am talking to lives just around the corner of my place. Funny!

Yeah, we Germans and Dutch are the least striking people of the world it seems........or it must be the Chinese....:)

[EDIT] Looks like Michael and his countrymen are the champs in striking ! (Wonder if they ever work at all ??  ;D ;D ;D) =>

Wow pretty interesting. For some reason I'd expected:

-The French to be on top
-The US to be a lot lower on the list
-surely didn't expect South Korea to be #6 ! Thought they'd be more like the Japanese.....
