Yeps... I knew these pictures... and I had an idea similar to that  ::)  ;)

When I looked at it it, I thought the tile was pretty cool, BUT that mirror took it to 11!  Very Nice.

P.S.   Oh yeah Nuno, where the heck is that roof?  :)

No news so far, I'm gonna call 'Mr roof' early in November.
Regarding the delay, all the other companies I was in touch had busy schedules too  :-\  But I admit that delay starts to be a little bit 'long'

Hope you beat the snow!  Don't want your game room to be a snow ball arena!

Can't wait for updates!  ;D  ;D  ;D

Speak with the guy today... rescheduled to ... 'somewhere' January  Hey! It was supposed to be done *before* the winter!
Well, he promises me to call me back by the end of this week with more details to give regarding the schedule! If I am not convinced, I will contact another company, but it will still waste time! I accepted his proposal SIX months ago :?

So here's the V3 at the moment... still no roof  :-X

OK, while I'm here, let's try my last game room decoration 'in location' : a Tron Recognizer Neon.

On the top of my Tron cab'

Note that this is NOT the final location. It's just a test, so I just put the Recognizer against the wall...

Let's turn down the general lightning...

Damn'! I didn't pay attention? The AB marquee lightening is down?

And what about the plasma ball? No so powerful compared to the 'Recognizer' neon  ::) 8)

Ya know what would be a GREAT idea in the V3....  Making an animated Recognizer like in Flynn's Arcade, that was seen at the begining of the original movie!   You will have the room !!!!  ;)

Bet it wouldn't cost too much, seems like an easy build for a neon tech.

At least you can invite some friends and do some ice-skating in your V3, when the rain freezes ;-).

Wtf! What a jerk! Just cant believe you as a contractor can do that to a costumer!!!

Another thing; if i was you Bruno, i would cover the top of the wall in plastic, so that the rain dont get into the wall - and expand during freezing temps, or course damage to the wall moist wise... Oh wait, the builder has to do that!!! Please tell him!

As I said before, no-one is interested for such a small job. They will ask a high price and if you do not accept, they dont care less. Most will consider this a job 'in between'.

Well, I contacted him and we found an arrangement (I skip the details...) to achieve the project before the end of January. Unless catastrophic weather condition of course ().

Read all 48 pages in one sitting as I have been awake for a long time, just awesome Bruno but like everyone else, UPDATES are needed !!

I should have had a roofing holiday in Belgium last year, machines would have been in there by now  ;)

[LIVE UPDATE] : The roof company just left my place few minutes ago. They came for a short 'Site Survey' before starting the delivery of the material, next week, and start the job. Fingers crossed now :P

Time to start dusting off those Galaxian Theater parts!  :)

I hope the parts you keep in the little shed in the back of the garden haven't started rusting away though. It doesn't seem to have the best climate to store metal parts. Or is it not that bad?
No arcade cab(s) yet, but happy owner of 2 Colecovisions, 2 Amigas and a pc running Mame.
