And this is exactly the time for fixing the acoustic insulation boards on the ceiling  ;)

The tools of the days : double layers scotch + generic Fix All glue :

Let's start like this :

A first row is done...

..But the 'Fix All' glue doesn't look strong enough to fix the boards on the ceiling  :?  I've found a special glue for polystyrene. And I'm also using some screws for fixing the edges of the boards :

Better now  :)

I really need a lot of glue. Here's other products I'm using to fix the boards :

I'm sure the boards won't fall  :D

That is the reason the pictures looks very dark by the way...  8) ... because there's no lighting yet, but you're right... you pointed the right wires  ;) I'll put exactly the same lamps than the first room.

Are you using these foam panels to avoid echos in the lair?  What kind of difference does it make using these panels?   :pac:  :ghost:

Well, the first room was originally supposed to be also a music studio for my old music band (few samples here or here...), so that is the reason I've used such anti acoustic panels. I think it looks cool too, so that the reason I've used them again in the new lair  ;)

You should consider buying a third colour of the same pattern (green?) in case you decide to expand the Nuno's Lair again!  :D ;D

Naahhhhh, no need for carpet in Nuno's Lair III. AFAIK it will house a game that has it's own floor :D

Yes, you're right... and green would be a good one to combine with the Red and Blue colors ( RGB power  ;D :-*).

Yes AndrĂ©, but the v should be bigger than the size of the GT-6 and should host other games. So a part of the v   should have a carpet  :P

OK, before applying the carpet, I've to remove the some thick painting marks

I wasn't happy regarding the junction with the  OSB plate between the two rooms. That plate wasn't stable because the small height difference. Remember

So we removed that OSB plate and put cement

Now it's perfect  :-*

Ok, here's THE carpet :
