Thanks for the support my friends  :-*

Ok, there is also work to do in the first room

Of course, we had to reinforce that side of the wall too

All these nails for fixing a new *strong* wood structure (behind the plaster boards).

Of course, I need to hide these new nails, but also rebuild these new edges...

I'm filling the holes...

...and rebuild the edges with plaster :

Back on the v2.

Before applying the right color, I've to apply a layer of primer. I got a special one for glass fiber of course

I was a little bit afraid before starting to paint... 'coz painting white on white  ::) ... but as you can see, there's a difference and it's easy to do  :P

Done  8)

Again... Looking great!!!

Funny, you said your father is a mason.. So was mine..  He did so many types of brick work..

The passage you've made from v1 to v2 is looking great too!  Very well Done!

Bruno one question.

When you apply the fiber does the surface of the wall become structured? Or does the wall turn out even after you painted the primer?

I'm asking because I'm also thinking about using fiber on the ceiling of my gameroom.

Well, not sure to fully understand the question  but maybe this 'zoom' picture can answers ?

After the primer layer, the shape/details of the glass fiber are still the same. Because it's only the fist layer of paint, you can still see few plaster boards joints behind the fibers, but it'll be fixed when I'll apply the next layers of paint.

Of course, I bring back a sample of my carpet ordered... Let's pick up the right color now  :P 8)

As I said previously, I want the total trip 'American/Dark/Old Fashion blue game room' (tm)  ;D ... so here's my choice for the v2

In addition, I'm sure that blue color will give a nice contrast with my first 'Orange/red' room  :spaceace:

Love That Color!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  ;D  The v2 side is gonna be kick ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  ;D  ;D  ;D

I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeallllly hate painting walls though.. I just suck at it!!!  I can never seem to paint without leaving "roll lines" .. or uneven color!

That is why my friend Delton did all the painting on the display cases.

Maybe it is just a bad thing that stuck on me from having to paint the sides of ships in the US Coast Guard! LOL

Looking GREAT Bruno!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  :pac:  :ghost:  :spaceace:   :spaceace:  :spaceace:  :spaceace:

 :-*

It's time to apply the second layer of this blue color  ;)

Painting blue on blue is not easy... I've done it in the evening, under low lightning condition  :-\

...same picture with the flash

But I finally did it  :spaceace:

Here's the result

Your pictures bring up an interesting question ..

what do pro's paint first?  The walls or the ceiling ??

You're right. We usually start painting by the ceiling, than the walls. But because I'll apply the same acoustic boards than the ones in my first room, I won't repeat the same mistake  I started by the ceiling, and when I had to paint the walls, I painted also on the acoustic boards, and so I have to correct that like this

So that is the reason I'll work on the ceiling after painting the walls for the second room ;)
