Pretty cool (Triple) DK Jr, especially the control panel.  :P
I guess the guy is selling it because he just started building a SW cockpit (you can see it in white, just next to the DK Jr).

Yep!!! Weird.
Dreaming of a Namco Galaxian waiting in a barn for me... somewhere! A Nintendo Sheriff would also make me happy. And a SNK Sasuke Vs Commanders or a SEGA Samurai... Argh too many; in fact!

Side art color combo is Euro version.....I see it by the colors but most easy to see: no green on the inside squares of the wings.

Pretty sure this is a Euro version, maybe some units didn't get the "Bertolini" name on the side art ?

Got some details from the seller : the cabinet has been stored in a warehouse 'as is' since few years but onto a pallet so no humidity or any water damage. More pictures should come soon. And of course he got a lot of inquires about this cabinet...  ::)

It's a Bertolini, not a Namco Japan one.

Some more pictures of this Galaxian...

Bezel and CPO do not look like original so I'd say it is difficult to have a definitive opinion.
However I believe we are right when guessing that this is not a japanese Namco Galaxian (even though the marquee is missing the Fratelli Bertolino text...)
And HANTAREX doc inside is in Italian...
Can this be an early/pre-production Bertolino or from another Italian manufacturer I've not heard of?

I am 100% sure it's the Italian version.

The coin door, the Hantarex monitor and the look and colors of the side art give it away. It's not very clear but it also seems to be missing the typical wood blocks on the top where those metal "lifting handles" are on the Japanese one (like Taito cabs).
The last and pretty clear indication is that the PCB lacks the Namco logo and the big voltage regulator on the right is a TO-3 type which was never used on the Midway or Namco boards AFAIK......this board looks like the one Muerto has in his Berolino Galaxian.

Indeed I think this may have been an early version, as you can see the marquee is also lacking the Bertolino texts that it normally has so that is pretty interesting. The color of the marquee could be another indication but it's impossible to tell from pictures.

Since the original board is still in there (and it doesn't look hacked (although it seems there are 3 RAMs missing on the far right edge) I guess they only replaced the bezel/CP......I bet it had the same fate as almost all those plexi only bezel/CP plates, damaged by abuse.

Anyway.......not worth 1800 euro by far ;)
