Thanks to all of you for your nice comments  :-*

especially since the game is working. i'll have to do some practice on my rally and then we can head off face to face: two old dudes, two white lines, one white block - PONG :spaceace:
I've exactly same problem than your Rally regarding one potentiometer... should be an easy fix... just have to check what is the potentiometer model.
Yes, you can practice on your Rally... because I'll challenge you on Pong when we'll meet together  ;)

Is there anything you haven't got??

Yes... a Sega R360, Kung Fu Master, EDOT, Starhawk ... and ... well ... some other 'relatively more easy' games to catch (I mean more easy than Computer Space or Pong for example  8)) I still don't have like Asteroids, Assault, ...I would like also to add one or two mechanical games also... and why not more pinballs... without talking about dozens of 'nice to have' games to add  ::)
So I'm afraid I still have the virus  ;D

Awesome! Lovin' the Dragon's Lair Animation Cel too. Is that yours? Superb shot of Dirk!

Yes, I've used that Dragon's Lair Cel in order to hide the box of diet coke -used to maintain the garlands on the PonG-  ;D
Once my new game room finished, I'll frame & display all these Dragon's Lair / Space Ace Cels 'proudly' on the walls  :P

Great neighbour for that Computer Space.

Yeps Blanka, next time you'll be able to make great pictures of the two games  ;)

Original hardware inside ? :)

Yeps, original board.
Note that the two knobs are not the same... very similar but not the same.
I'll take a lot of picture of this baby.  :)

Thanks  :-*

It's funny... I remember 4 years ago... in the GAME ON UK exhibition, both games were there... flashback  ;)

Of course, I was hoping to own both of them one day... but didn't really expected to have them so 'quickly' at the end (does 4 years is quick?). So everything happens... hey, it's the magic of Xmas after all  ::) ;D :P

Very, very nice catch Bruno, congratulations on that one. I was fortuante enough to see one in real myself this year and it is a beautiful machine. A must have in every serious collection.

but please get rid of the xmas decoration on it, it doesn't look good, in fact it's a sacrilege.  ;)

How time flies... more than 1 year later, and no more update on this? Shame on me !

Ok, that Pong is since a long time 'cleaned' of course... I didn't repeated the XMAS Pong tree this year  :) :

Found this in the 'coin reject'... yes! It's made in USA  ;D

Now let's find its identity... Damn it! No serial number sticker  :-X ... it was supposed to be here

Thanks to Etienne, it will be possible to reproduce it, but I would like to use its real serial number, so let's check inside the cabinet if I can find it somewhere...

Mhhh nothing so far...

...maybe the value printed on the board "0920" ?

Let's check the rest of the cabinet... Well, the PONG is almost an empty box as you can see ...

Love to find old 'things' hidden on the cab  :P This time, it's this

I presume it's the box from the current potentiometers used to replace the original ones... to check!

Hey, I didn't notice... I have the original backdoor sheet  :)

Closer...

OK, I need some help now regarding the *missing* serial number. Is there some PONG owners here (Alpha1, Atarimania, ?) who have the SN on their Pong ?
I need the exact size of this sticker

I didn't find any value inside the cabinet, expect the value printed on the board. Does the SN would match that value for you ? Thx for help guys  8)

Gotta love that Hitachi TV in there ! It still has the areal, with some modding you can watch TV too ;););) (unless you guys dont have analogue terrestial TV transmitters
anymore like we....)

Something I never noticed, the operator always had to empty the coin "scale" through the backdoor !!! Not very handy...

And funny they say "PONG Computer" in that backdoor sheet....it doesnt have a processor, but technically I think you can say that it has inputs, outputs and some processing going on so yes, it's a computer allright ;););)

There is an instruction on the net how to build one from a VCR. I'm gonna try as I will receive a Sony Watchmen soon :)
