Tomcat?
Impossible, the only Tomcat that exists is a PCB in a SW upright cab in Jed Margolin's house......well he WAS thinking of selling it. But Tom Cat is nothing more then a flying demo over a set of dots on the screen. Not Russian to me....

I think it's Raid Over Moscow ! (O wait, that's an Atari 8-bit game :D)

Did you buy it from the Arcadebarn ? I remember I saw one there....not working regretfully....

Road trip starts

The weather is pretty bad :(

After nearly 4 hours of driving we arrive at the sellers house. I park outside the garage.

The seller arrives... We open the garage door and....

Holy shit it is in fabulous condition and all original! The seller gives me an additional LD player, Firefox LD and Firefox PCB set.
He tells me he got the game from an arcade sometime around 1988. It has been in his dads garage for 20 years after the laserdisc player broke!

I load the game up:

The game is loaded up and I have the spares, I bid the seller farewell and leave to go home

What's the in the sky? It looks like the second Firefox prototype is after me...

So we decide to hide out at Burger King :D

I finally arrive home. Total road trip 405 miles (600ish? km?)

I'll take some more pictures once I have unloaded the game from my car. I was tired so left the game in there overnight.

Awesome  :o A Firefox  :o  :-* :-* :-* ...and spare parts, well done  :)
For your first RT story published here  ;)

I think Rav' has also an upright Firefox, but not an original one If I remember well (Return of the Jedi conversion?) ?
As far as we can see on your first pictures, the cab' looks in good condition. Can't wait to see the pictures after unloading the game  ;)

The game is safe and sound now at my parents place. I didn't have time to take pictures but I opened her up and the machine is complete. All the serial numbers appear to match :D

Well, Done Oli

When I bought my Dragon's Lair back in 1990 the seller had a working Firefox as well, I wanted to buy it but I didn't have the cash.. it won't take you long to get her working again.

Love the film, Love the game!!!
