let me quote myself from another thread
as for my nintendo row, i'm still missing a few games i'd like to add (e.g. radarscope and sheriff), but one can't have it all, can you? btw, i forgot punchout of course - must have one
believe it or not, only a few days after i posted this (if i remember correctly the number is 3), a nintendo game shows up on ebay classified ads. the description was poor, no original pictures, but only screenshots, so i didn't even know whether he was selling just the pcb. got in touch with the seller via phone, asked for some pics, phoned again and sealed the deal. the only problem was: the machine was basically located at the end of the world, but i know someone who lives there
- toralf "timepilot" to the resuce. i asked him if he could pick up the game for me, put it on a pallet and send it down south. luckily, toralf agreed to do so. thx a lot for your help in this one, toralf
it took a while for everything to come together, but i was in no hurry at all. yesterday, when i entered The Storage™ for a different reason, something was waiting there for me. i didn't know it had already been delivered, i wasn't at home when it arrived. fortunately, patrik was and he opened the door for the shipping company.
here we go, the latest member of my (still) growing nintendo family
christmas in april!
a first peak inside
hell ya - punch me, baby!!!
the game has been sitting in an unheated garage for the last 20+ years, but the condition is still pretty good (missing sideart = no problem!)
let's have a look inside: dual monitor setup ...
... and the rest of the electronic components: everything seems to be there!
time to flick the switch!!!
oh - my - god!!! fully working
why don't we talk about another game now, let's say radarscope or sheriff. my nintendo row is still missing a few games and who knows what's going to show up on ebay classified ads over the course of the next few days ...
