I justed cleaned the connections on RR his pac man pcb, and what do you know, the pac man cabinet is also working! And I'm a bit jealous because his screen is almost perfect, no burn-in and very bright and sharp colors!

Don't thank me, I have to thank you guys. If you all wouldn't have participated (small ods, I know  :D), the deal would have been not so nice. And it is always fun to be helpful to other arcade collectors and friends. Like the Japan cab deal which I organized last Summer, that was also very fun to do.

Even better, the pac man joystick works perfect! Maybe they replaced the grommet.
Is it easy to convert the ms pac man pcb to a pac man? Will this involve soldering or is it just a Rom swap?

Yesterday a little package from the US arrived:

It’s Ronald Reagens Pac Man Marque.

So the outside of his cabinet is now also in his original state again, looks beautiful:

I also did some shopping yesterday for mine ms pac man. A new lock:

And also a new light for my coindoor:

I already installed the original eroms a while back, so my ms pac man is back in his original state.

Today another package from the US arrived. A new ms pac man cpo:

Looks great, much more accurate then the one 2bits is selling

Even the midway logo is there

Do you guys know what the best method is to make the holes for the screws? I got a hobby knife at home, will this do or do I need a scalpel?

No, there is no difference. The colors of the old one are a bit faded.
