ATTENTION! v0.99 is now out! Quickly now... ready your weapons! The fate of the Earth now rests in the gunners.

NOTE: v0.99 is the Final Check version, meaning there may still be a few bugs left that will be gone in v1.00 coming out next month. Again, stay tuned.

NOTE 2: The page says it was released on September 10th, but was actually released Sept. 9th, only a couple hours before midnight (The result of varying time zones).

This game has entered the contest.

Deadline for the contest is 10/31. Let's all wish EXPROLE good luck on the contest.

NOTE 3: The "Briefing Room" that I was unable to access. It turns out you can only access it from inside of Japan (Apparently it's locked outside to prevent spam)

A Shooting for xx- ver.0.99 (Final Check version) is being prepared for download. Final Check may mean some last minute fixes/changes to the game.

EDIT: It appears there may be a PublicPlaying version 2 coming. Also updated in the page are the release dates.

v1.00 will come out next month.

If that's the case, then it seems we have to search even more. Now that we know there was a prototype of the 28 player attraction, add that to the few other versions (1.00, 2.00, 3.01β (probably CD Drama though?), and 3.21).

I don't think it's just "blobs in a chain" though. I could be mistaken and it's just the video quality, but I believe they were using film as background for enemies (very unlikely assumption though).

(Speaking of which, is there someone that is able to translate Scenario Version 3.01β?)

The workprint version seems to have different music that was later replaced in the final build. Think we should edit the wikipedia page?

I've found out about it before. It's irritating to say the least.

Now we know it at least went overseas. TOM's world in Taiwan, overseas. I'm surprised they even created a different version of the DRAGOON ship on top.

No new version yet, but in this main page is this image:

Still?! I thought they stopped already.

I've.............. no words to explain this.

It really DOES exist somewhere other than in the NAMCO's archive! In fact, the previous pictures mentioned a over a year ago can be said.

About 3 minutes in, there comes a brief footage of SPACE HARD (Cyber dome)

Are my eyes deceiving me?

GALAXIAN3 sign fell and broke in half. That explains the previous pictures we saw over the years, as well as the ones with UGSF West.

EDIT: Nope, that was a different one. Two of them were broken.

And this too...

Lately, Namco has been on to not just GALAXIAN3 and Tower of DRUAGA, but Wonder Eggs too. Lookin forward to next week.

Off Topic - Extremely rare piece Namco CM

Utauneko site seems to have gotten a bit of an overhaul.

Let's see what this brochure has to offer, NAMCO, especially with that SAME KEYBOARD AGAIN! Just what IS Namco planning?!

Galaxian Theater / Re: Galaxian 3 on NAMCO Game Sound Express
« on: May 20, 2016, 01:22:11 AM »
NOTE: This album also includes the mobile versions of the music and SFX. So there was either a mobile version of the game that we did not know existed, or they exclusively made it to pay homage to old mobile devices.

I have to get this off my chest.

I took a listen to it today after getting it from ffshrine, and it just took me by surprise!

I know, we already have the arranged Starblade soundtrack, but the one in the NAMCO Game Sound Express was a little different than the one heard on the Laserdisc, unlike this latest album, which has arranged tracks (Laserdisc Version), not to mention the previously unreleased "CHARACTER SHOW".

We could label the two of them... Starblade (NAMCO Game Sound Express ver.), and Starblade (Laserdisc w/o SFX edition).

One thing bad about this album, however, is that they used the VOICE sounds from the arcade PCB boards (Therefore very low quality), compared to NAMCO Game Sound Express using the masters for the VOICE lines (Therefore... well you get the idea).

I think we should expect Vol. 6 to do GALAXIAN3, previously unreleased tracks, and (again) Laserdisc versions.
