Snaaaap! I saw that as well.

Also pretty wild that they apparently almost got a newer rev of Project Dragoon as well, but missing a rom.

Nice. It's good to see the compilation music for GALAXIAN3 be preserved, lossless especially.  ;D

Also, quick note: Track "04 - The Cause Was Found" is actually on Volume 16th (Attack of the Zolgear) of the NAMCO Game Sound Express series as track 11, "Zolgear".

Galaxian Theater / Starblade (Before Tekken 5 or Namco Arcade)
« on: January 10, 2018, 11:02:14 PM »
Quite a long time ago, I assumed that the mobile tracks in the Shinji Hosoe Works Vol. 5 (Also containing the LD mix of the Arrange Tracks along with the previously unreleased CHARACTER SHOW) were only exclusively made for said album, until I found this.

It's StarBlade for Vodafone Live! (Scroll down)

Complete with its own Animated GIF showing footage of the game in action.

And a couple more screenshots to go along with it.
Quite a rare port, indeed.
How this has missed my eye, I've no idea, not to mention that said port isn't even mentioned on the japanese wikipedia, let alone its release date.

Aren't parts of the schematics included in the Theater 6 Installation Manual that DarthNuno posted several years ago?

So even after all these decades, they still exist?!

Now I'm wondering if the secondary screen romsets are inside of each seat, rather than being an extension of the main rom.

http://www.galaxian3.com/~karin/g3list/g3list_en.html (Yes, there are still some machines in operation)
http://www.galaxian3.com/~karin/g3list/g3slist_en.html

The Galaxian Theater located at Minolta Tower Centre was said to have vanished before 2003/07/25. Not confirmed what kind of Galaxian3 machine it was, may it be the 6-player arcade, or the 16/28-player attraction.

The page details where the arcade/attraction was eliminated. Out of all four 16-player attractions, however, at least two (unless the Chinese CYBER STATION and TOM'S CITY are the same model) 16-player version made it outside of Japan, in the Republic of China at CYBER STATION, and at TOM'S CITY, the latter being evidenced by these two photos below (Source from Kei8774, also seen in the 28-player thread).

Galaxian Theater / Re: Galaxian 3 items on Yahoo Japan

Do you think we should get it? There are some minor bits of rot in the laserdisc video DarthNuno uploaded that might not be present in the laserdisc at the auction.

Like taking a few laserdiscs of the same movie, replacing parts of the image that has some rot (Laserdisc Left Side #1) with the part that is undamaged (Laserdisc Left Side #2)?

NOTE: It's an idea that I believe may have originated in the original trilogy forums.

Very interesting. Surprised that Disney would have its own hallowween/christmas movie in a theme park, especially one not run by Disney.

Galaxian Theater / Re: New Space Order
« on: November 05, 2016, 04:05:57 AM »
Been nearly 2 years. Once again, sorry for the bump, but I think this should be said in this thread.

It's a visual novel of NewSpaceOrder, complete with BGM, SFX, and Voice Acting.

By the way, I've saw that NewSpaceOrder had an Open Beta test, held at the same two locations up until its cancellation. Were those Open Beta tests available for everyone to download and play on their PC or was it just exclusive to those two locations? If the former, does anyone happen to have a copy of it?

I don't know if the models in the (no longer available, unable to download) UGSFmod for Homeworld 2 are the same ones in NewSpaceOrder.

Shooting for xx 1.01 is out now. Project Utauneko page hasn't been updated yet, but the download link is.

Now we'll see if it wins the HSP Contest of 2016.
