I dunno, this place is pretty cool. I like everyone here. I need to come more often. I love the different point of view and like that it's small. You might want to change the URL. I certainly don't come here for Dragon's Lair talk. :)

I think you should add a "shoutbox" like I did on the John's Arcade forum.

Hi John,

As I told you at funspot, I habe a bezel, control Panel, marquee and Harness...
They will be easy to ship.

You should ask Paul Swan for an empty cab:) it will be easier to ship an zaccaria universal cab in The US.

Cu
Joerg

Ok, who is Paul Swan? Is he in the USA? I will send you PM about the parts.

How hard are these to find? How do I get one to the states? Anyone have any leads? Are there any in the USA?

*BUMP*  ;D

Six years l8ter, here's how the Galaxian3 Theater6 -still located over there- looks like...in video :

Thanks to John from John's Arcade for being there, following my looong time request ...much appreciated dude!  :-* :-* :-*

So well, the game wasn't plugged... so we can presume it's currently not working?!
Anyway, this one must ABSOLUTELY be saved! This is the only THEATER 'Galaxian3/original game' equipped left in the US as far as I know.
Which means it should includes all the important stuff (pcb & LD media)
The last for sale was located in Canada, and it got severely damaged () in shipping due to a careless carrier... It was in 2014.

So yeah, you must initiate a rescue mission, guys! ...and well, if it cannot be saved, I'm still up for the boards, LD media/players...anything!  ;D I badly need some spare for the only one Galaxian3 located in Europe... mine!  ;)

Glad you saw it.

Right now, it needs to stay here and there are some things in the works. DO NOT DO ANYTHING YET.

Artwork / Thanks Etienne!!! BUY HIS STICKERS! HE ROCKS!
« on: September 24, 2015, 04:08:50 AM »
Hey, I just wanted to give Etienne a shout out. A few times now, he has sent me a bunch of awesome stickers for my games and other little surprises like the below. He does a really good job. I also have the Grinkers group photo hanging in my basement on my vent.

Thank you Etienne! YOU RULE! I forget to tell you I put the Jump Bug stickers on my game the last time I pulled it away from the wall. I didn't film it. :( But I can't wait to put the Quantum stickers on!

Just curious if anyone has an Atari I, Robot cardboard bezel or control panel for sale in this part of the world.

If you do, please contact me!

Thanks!

John

I just grabbed this:

Nice cath John  :)

Dude! That thing is AMAZING!! Are you running the original Phillips player? Love it!

Nope, this cockpit runs a dedicated mame setup, configured and exclusively fine tuned for that game only! Once started, you can't tell its not the original setup behind that stuff. Note that I own the board, supposed working and the LD, but I don't have the LD player itself.
It's a fantastic game to play, a classic 'rail shooter' like Star Wars or Starblade, and so 80s', thanks to the Firefox theme!
 :spaceace:

Oh, interesting! MAME? Or Daphne?

I'm trying to fix my Laserdisc player now. There is something wrong with the power supply. The thing is totally dead and no DC voltages are coming out of it. I really hope it's an easy fix. If not, I will get the DEXTER PCB when it's available.

I am very proud to own Yellow Computer Space #10299. The thing is complete and not working. I have replaced the power supply so far and no change. GE TV is working with white raster on the screen. I see some issue with that tube above the flyback. Game does nothing. This is going to be quite the challenge. So worth it! Seems to be an early game as it has no lock on the front.

My buddy Adam (onecircuit.com) comes with me to pick up the game from Pilot Air and bring it back to the garage. We try getting the game working when we return. Thanks, Adam!

Also in the video I interview Ed Fries (Microsoft Excel, Xbox launch Team, Figure Prints, etc.) about his Yellow Computer Space he just fixed. Read about it here: https://edfries.wordpress.com

And... we interview Kevin from http://www.computerspacefan.com - the dude knows his stuff!

This is a long episode. Hope you like it! :)

I have one of these PCBs. I don't think it has loverboy roms but it's the same hardware. I was going to convert it with a ROM swap. Never got around to it. Not sure I'm looking to sell just yet.
