It doesn't support Euro versions yet and won't do for quite some time because other games are a higher priority for them.

I'll be first in line when, hopefully, they do support Euro Dl and SA.

I've got an aging Atari Space Ace still hanging in there with original Laserdisc and player. My Atari Dragon's Lair has a converted player but original Laserdisc. Can't see them lasting much longer!

They are worth that much to me, hence them not being for sale. If someone offered me 10k I wouldn't say no!  ;D

I have a dedicated Dragon's Lair, and a Space Ace (DL conversion). They aren't for sale though, well, not for less than £10,000 each, plus a packet of jaffa cakes. :-)

I have written to a local hi-res scanning/printing company to see how much they will charge.

Artwork / Atari DL CPO Scan

Moved here from my sales thread.

What resolution is "high resolution"? I'll need to find a suitable scanner somewhere.

I'll give it a go. I have set up a proper thread for it in the artwork thread, not in the sales thread!

Hi everyone,

If I can get a price that I am happy with I am going to sell my Atari Dragon's Lair and my Atari Space Ace. I am thinking of £1800 each.

One of them uses an original player and one uses a converter and more modern player, I can't remember which is which though so I will have a look and update the post.

The Space Ace artwork is limited edition repro and signed by Don Bluth and Gary Goldman. The marquee is actually a USA marquee which is signed by Don and Gary. The control panel overlay is wrecked but I have a NOS Atari control panel overlay that you can stick on. These things are so rare that I haven't had the bravery to do it! The coin mechs are missing so that would need replacing. The screen has a bit of gaussing that you could degauss, I just haven't got around to it, and the monitor works well.

The Dragon's Lair artwork is a mess, so it's a good job that I have NOS artwork for it that you can stick on. The marquee is signed by Gary and Don and is an Atari Marquee. The control panel overlay again is a mess, but I have a NOS one to replace it (I seem to recall it being signed too). Again I just haven't had the bravery to stick it on. The screen works but is sometimes in black and white and the picture sometimes jumps. I think it needs a re-cap. The coin mechs look like they should work but they are set for old 10p coins and I don't have any to check.

I'll post pictures as soon as I can but you can see the machines here

You'll be lucky to get an Atari. Cinematronics are the easiest to get, cheapest to buy and to maintain. I have an Atari DL and an Atari Space Ace. I have owned a Cinematronics but it just wasn't right for me. It's far easier keeping the Cinematronics running though.

DL2 is a bit of a beast in terms of size but the cheapest of the three. I had one of those too but had to sell it to make room. If I ever get a double garage I'll be getting another one.

Are there any Ataris actually for sale anywhere?

Hi Everyone,

Ramcade needs a bit of space so I can fit a new arrival in. That means, with a heavy heart, I have to let my Dragon's Lair 2 go. I wish I had a double garage!

 £550

It's in brilliant condition as can be seen in the pictures here and I doubt you'll find one in much better condition.

The only marks on it are a dent in the grill, it was there when I got it, and the very front edge of the control panel has lifted up, about 5mm or so. You can see them in the pictures.

Note that I am happy to arrange delivery but I am not going to be responsible for the delivery, you are welcome to come and play it for as long as you like but once it goes out of my door it's in your hands! I am in Middlesbrough.

This weekend I am going to strip everything out of the Space Ace (including control panel) cabinet pictured below. Basically all that will be left is the wooden cabinet.

I am going to put the cabinet onto eBay starting at 99p but before I do that would anyone like to offer me something for it here?

It doesn't have to be money. PCBs, laserdisc players, half decent posters, midi controllers, things I can tinker with. Anything interesting really!

You'll have to arrange and pay for shipping the cabinet!

I just realised that I didn't post the advert for the cab. Here is a picture of it:

It needs a good clean. I will be keeping the buttons and stick so I only sell the control panel.

Let me know,

Lee

I have one. Have a look at my Space Ace/Dragon's Lair cabinet thread.  I am about to strip everything out of it including the control panel. If that one's ok I'm sure we can make a deal
