Artwork / Atari DL CPO Scan

Moved here from my sales thread.

What resolution is "high resolution"? I'll need to find a suitable scanner somewhere.

Hi everyone,

If I can get a price that I am happy with I am going to sell my Atari Dragon's Lair and my Atari Space Ace. I am thinking of £1800 each.

One of them uses an original player and one uses a converter and more modern player, I can't remember which is which though so I will have a look and update the post.

The Space Ace artwork is limited edition repro and signed by Don Bluth and Gary Goldman. The marquee is actually a USA marquee which is signed by Don and Gary. The control panel overlay is wrecked but I have a NOS Atari control panel overlay that you can stick on. These things are so rare that I haven't had the bravery to do it! The coin mechs are missing so that would need replacing. The screen has a bit of gaussing that you could degauss, I just haven't got around to it, and the monitor works well.

The Dragon's Lair artwork is a mess, so it's a good job that I have NOS artwork for it that you can stick on. The marquee is signed by Gary and Don and is an Atari Marquee. The control panel overlay again is a mess, but I have a NOS one to replace it (I seem to recall it being signed too). Again I just haven't had the bravery to stick it on. The screen works but is sometimes in black and white and the picture sometimes jumps. I think it needs a re-cap. The coin mechs look like they should work but they are set for old 10p coins and I don't have any to check.

I'll post pictures as soon as I can but you can see the machines here

Hi Everyone,

Ramcade needs a bit of space so I can fit a new arrival in. That means, with a heavy heart, I have to let my Dragon's Lair 2 go. I wish I had a double garage!

 £550

It's in brilliant condition as can be seen in the pictures here and I doubt you'll find one in much better condition.

The only marks on it are a dent in the grill, it was there when I got it, and the very front edge of the control panel has lifted up, about 5mm or so. You can see them in the pictures.

Note that I am happy to arrange delivery but I am not going to be responsible for the delivery, you are welcome to come and play it for as long as you like but once it goes out of my door it's in your hands! I am in Middlesbrough.

Cheers

This weekend I am going to strip everything out of the Space Ace (including control panel) cabinet pictured below. Basically all that will be left is the wooden cabinet.

I am going to put the cabinet onto eBay starting at 99p but before I do that would anyone like to offer me something for it here?

It doesn't have to be money. PCBs, laserdisc players, half decent posters, midi controllers, things I can tinker with. Anything interesting really!

You'll have to arrange and pay for shipping the cabinet!

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for the duplicate post, I couldn;t work out how to edit my last one. I have added a video and reduced the price...

I have taken a video and put it here for you:

It's a bit over exposed, the colours are fine on the machine, by my camera and also it has added some funny "swirly" effects for some reason, again they aren't visible on screen. You can see the machine works fine though, which is the main thing.

£850

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone anywhere know where I can get my hands on a working Philips 22VP932, Pioneer LD-V4300D or a Pioneer LD-4100P Laserdisc player to fix my Atari Space Ace? Re-twitter-bookify this message, someone somewhere in the world must have one of them!

P.S. I know I should have got a Cinematronics but the beep is all wrong and the score is in the wrong place!

Hi Everyone,

I am after a working Atari Dragon's Lair or Atari Space Ace in the UK or Europe. It doesn't matter about the condition of the CP overlay, marquee or side art becuase I have signed replacements.

However the cabinet, monitor, laserdisc etc. must be in good condition and working (without rot).

Hi everyone.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/22645950@N04/sets/72157622889452313/

Pioneer Laseractive with Mega Drive module and Pioneer badged Mega Drive controller (very rare). It will play Japanese Mega Drive games, Mega LD, Sega CD and regular laserdiscs. This is really fragile and I'd rather not post it. If possible I'd rather it be collected or I can deliver myself if you are between Middlesbrough and London near the A1 or M1 :-)   I will post at your risk and cost though, it's very heavy.

Offers around £300

I also have Road Prosecutor and Triad Stone in excellent condition for £20 each.

I'll do a bundle deal with the games and A100 if anyone is interested and makes a sensible offer.

Cheers

Hi Everyone,

I'm selling my working Space Ace arcade game, it's the USA Cinematronics version but is in my house in the U.K.

The system is fully working but needs some attention. In short

- New side art needs to be applied
- The bottom corners need filling and shaping because they've been damaged, I guess through years of being scraped on the floor.
- T-Moulding needs replacing
- Laser Disc Drawer needs making more stable
- Needs a new coin mech door
- possibly the black "melomime" covering needs replacing in parts, depending on how minty fresh you want it to look

I already have the side art (officially licensed reproducton) plus a new old stock control panel and marquee worth £150, both signed by Don Bluth and Gary Goldman  - the game's creators, which I am including in the sale.

The monitor is non original and uses an AV converter to convert from the laserdisc to it.
The laserdisc is a replacement Sony and uses a conversion card. Many people use these players because they are more reliable than the original. I have the original laserdisc (LV1000) but it is dead (probably a capacitor issue)

The laserdisc is very good but does produce the odd teeny tiny number of artifacts on the screen. Just a few "pixels" worth on occasion.

I was going to ask for £850 plus delivery (if you can't collect) once I'd done the work myself. So I will let it go for £750 plus delivery to cover a bit for the work that needs to be done.

Let me know if you are interested and I will send pictures over.

Cheers

Lee
