Hey... this is what I like the most : A meeting/gaming session improvised 

It's the 24th of Christmas... Yes ... Christmas day  ... around 1:00pm ...

...and today the special guests are two friends from France... both have arcade games and/or pinballs...and are huge Arcade fan, an major condition if you want to visit the Nuno's Lair  .

They come especially here for a nice meeting... from France (almost two hours to drive?) !
 

Hopefully for them, I still have Dr Pepper in my fridge 

Funkycochise (on the right in the picture) & I, talking about the history of the Arcade...



...in the presence of this 'lady'... the oldest person in the room... the one who knows everything   



OK, the game room is not totally finished (no decoration, some games are not working, no poster of Britney Spears) ... but we don't care ! We are collecting games after all, so ... let's play

He 'pretend' to be official World Record man ... on Rolling Thunder (sorry Dazza  )... So before submitting his hi score to Twin Galaxies, he has to prove us if he is the real King Of Thunder  (sorry Dazza... bis  )

One again, Funkycochise is playing -with only one hand- on that Tron, the other one inside the pocket

It was a GREAT after noon ... a great Arcade session ... that meeting was a nice Christmas gift and I hope you enjoyed that too 

Next time, there'll be more games playable (a lot of games were unplug and the others have to be restored) and the game room will look a way more more more better, you can believe me

not that much, i'd say 1h and a half as a maximum.   

In fact I was overall coming to see how you were fixing your sony 29" into your cab as I am concerned by the same problem.
You as me "come, I will show you, when do you wanna come ?"
It was 23 of december evening.
My only answer : "do you do anythhing tomorrow ?" 
So, fate was sealed.

You know my friend, It's always a huge pleasure to come and visit you, even if i was a bit scary to disturb your X-mas night.
So much game to see in this V2 release.
As I've seen, since the time we came, you took a new start in your cab restoration. Glad to see that our visit have maybe got you the motivation to go forward with fews of your waiting cab.
There are so many, it's a real big river to cross. "Were do I begin ?", when there are so much work to complete.

A big thank to you and your wife for your disponibility and your kindness...
So much lights in the eye when we go back home.
You know how much it's priceless.

Zebass was like a child on the way back, speaking over and over again about his experience of the afternoon 
Isn't arcade what it is about ? Sure !

I could make a full range of thanks that it wouldn't reach how much all this counts for me.

As we already missed each other in our overbooked schedules.

It's a shame I don't live anywhere near anyone that has a single arcade machine... I'd even settle for a pinball!

I don't have any pretention in making high scores, even on my beloved game : rolling thunder 
So don't worry Dazza, there's no chance for me to compete with you.
If I remember well, I didn't even pass 1st stage during that session 

That said, Bruno, Rolling Thunder deserves a better access, I'm not that fat but playing tablet isn't good conditions
allowing high score perfomance

As you've seen, the games inside the two rooms are not in their best location, for example the socket behind the Dragon's Lair II wasn't easy to access... but next time, you'll enjoy Dragon's Lair II

no the cabinet was there before, the house was built around it and then Bruno started to collect dedicated cabinet as offerings to this arcade idol.
