Nice ! Funny that they tried to protect the inputs wItoh the opto-couplers and now a freaking resistor goes bust....who would have guessed......maybe someone put some voltage on that input sometime.

Love your McGyver thinking but better never close both contacts somehow ;)

Level42: Yeah I know. Also told the guy that he ougth the replace the whole resistor pack and remove the jumper (his daddy is an old electronics wiz). But we needed it to work NOW on-site };-P so I guess it was a real MacGyver-hack };-P
