Well, you know, My wife allows me to build this gameroom in our house, BUT (with women there is always a BUT...) only if everything looks clean and the room can also be used as a guestroom in emergency (I got some plans how to prewent this possibility...

).
But, it really is a lot easier for me to just put a new ceiling under the old one then scratch of the paint, fill all the holes, dents and scratches, hope the old finery (is that the right word?) they used in the 70s wont fall off and finally paint it

All I have to do with the new ceiling is screw the timer up there, and then nail the ceiling panels into place...
The only thing I really worry about is the room height. This house was built somewhene between 1965 and 1975, everythins has been modernised over the time, but back in the days they didn't plan to use basement as a place to stay... only to store stuff... so, the rooms down here only have a hight of about 2.10 Meters. Fine with me, I'm only 1.82 big, but, as you can see on the pinball it could be not high enough...
So I really have to think of something... I think i could get the pinball down another 2 or 3 CMs by trunign those screws out you normally use to adjust the proper hight...
my wife dosn't allow me to build a gameroom in the garden... (not yet)... so this will have to do...
