Midway's Blue Shark

A while ago I stored a nice working Blue Shark cab for an arcade fellow so I grabbed the opportunity to take a few pictures for documentation.
I'm a sucker for this generation of cabs with illuminated backdrops, it really is magical and in this case it beats any fancy aquariums in a living room
.
The game is OK (shoot a maximum of sharks in a definite time) I certainly wouldn't play it everyday but the underwater sounds are really cool,
the big pixels graphics always have my vote and this cab displays so nicely that sometimes I was turning it on just to watch it.
Enjoy!

@ Super: There's a video of the gameplay on youtube, I could'nt do better...and yes I 'm lazy:

@ Etienne: If I ever find another "Monster" cab, it's yours of course!
@ Béla: I want it too, it was kinda hard to let it go, I kept delaying the pick up date, but it happened eventually

Man what a beautiful game.
I really want the Taito version - there appears to be lots of them in France - but I keep missing out on them!

Yea that is cool
I am a sucker for this era of games too
I guess it's a age thing
Not that I remember this game in particular but remember looking into these type of games as a kid thinking they were magic
I could never work out how they did it.
Lovely game mate
