here's one of those roadtrips i did quite a while ago but haven't found the time to let you guys in - until now!!!
as always, let's have a look at what's coming up first
as you can see, not a huge distance to cover this time (also confirmed by the stats on my steering wheel)
prepare to qualify
i'm off to a good start, passing one vehicle after the other (not caring about speed limits
)
putting the pedal to the metal
damn it, not fast enough! but the second place is good enough to qualify for the rest of the roadtrip
i need to slow down in the city, although the wide empty roads are very tempting
the seller's location is in an industrial area of nuremberg
one last obstacle before the pit stop
with my car (!) i'm entering an underground complex
a view through the side windows: old machinery and metal parts everywhere!
then i finally reach the object of my affection: a
working pole position
(well, actually it's a pp2 pcb in a pp1 cab)
time to grab the steering wheel ...
... and play a round!
before loading the game, let's have quick look inside
as you can see, the battery which often leaks and destroys the board is still on the pcb, ...
... so i remove it immediately!
time to head out again
be careful, sharp right turn ahead
i'm passing an area called "zeppelinfeld"
during the time of the nazi regime, this aread was used as a military parade ground
the streets are almost too narrow for my formula 1 car
but then it's finally time to speed up to the max again
here's something i spotted during a short stop
the final (pit) stop!!!
one country, two counties, 307 kilometers, 4 hours 15 minutes on the road - this roadtrip is OFFICIALLY OVER!
