Finally, i´m back with another
cab cockpit.... and it´s a beauty!
I must say, it´s a nightmare to make a descent roadtrip in pictures, simply because there´s nothing to take pictures of!!!
- nothing funny at least... but here it goes:
A bit longer than last time, but it was nice weather, and that helped
Left early this morning, to avoid traffic, and it worked
And at that time equals empty motor ways!!!!!
As theres no wind mills what so ever in the mainland, here´s a radio tower instead:
Nice bridge.....
A nice vintage car.
A flock of sheep's...
Empty higways
And then, the first hint of what i won.......
Finally, after 2t 30m, my exit...
Arrived at the sellers place, and had a look of some of his other arcade machines.... - this one he just sold to a member on JAMMA+ sweet looking!!!!!
Well, disassembled the cockpit, and put it in the car....
Luckily you was able to take it apart (3 pieces) "upright it wont fit in the car, so the monitor bit is placed on it´s "head"
what you can see here is the back end of the cockpit...
And then......... Martin shoved me some more cabs, and i ended up buying another one, but i had to leave it at his place, because there wasen´t anymore room in the car..... - love this cab style!
A SEGA/Gremlin Invinco dual Head on 2
The whole way back i did take some pictures, but theres no point showing them....
Instead, arrived at the warehouse.... final score:
Got the cab inside, assembled it, plugged it in, and here you go:
Picture taken through the bend piece of plexy.
And from the rear.
The coin counter speaks for it self!!!!!
Serial plate:
and under that, a little nice thing.... wow, who have guessed when this was assembled in 81´ in Japan (where i was 6 years old) it would end up in my hands 30 years later....
Final image of the 2 cabs side by side in the warehouse..
Thanks to Martin, enjoyed speaking to you, and see you soon!
So, i see if i can somehow sum this up Ully style.... here goes...
One island - 292,9 Miles driven (468,6KM) 5 Hours on the road...This roadtrip is OFFICIALLY OVER
