In the meantime....
Some info for all visitors:
-weather forecast for friday and saturday looks pretty good for us. Temperature between 16 and 18 degrees C (GREAT for our gameroom) and mostly cloudy. Rain expected on Saturday though....but weather (forecasts) change quicker than you think in Holland
- a simple lunch will be provided with rolls with ham or (Dutch!) cheese. Also available will be some typical Dutch snacks: kroket or frikandel (Tip: mustard on kroket, curry ketchup on frikandel
) We'll also try to make some soup.
- since Eurocade has moved to the clubhouse, we have limited (or no) cooking facilities. Following this, we have decided to have a fixed time for dinner. The reason is that we want to order in Chinese/Indonesian food (hope you guys like that). Apart from that there will also be some other dishes, salads, chicken etc. We can easily sit 40 people in the bar area and thought it would be a lot of fun to eat all together "camp style". This will also be good for some social contacts and taking a brake from the screens and buttons
So, at 18.00 hrs. we will switch off all games and lock the gameroom for half an hour/45 minutes....no exceptions.
If anyone has special food requirements please let us know ASAP !
Drinks are free throughout the day.
Food & drinks will be payed out of the voluntary donations piggybank in the end...so donate fairly
- Power requirements:
1) We will provide all necessary power outlets. We have set up a plan because we have to think about how many cabs will be on one group at the same time etc. So please don't go re-arranging power outlets/connections yourself !!! IF you really need to change something, please contact one of the Crewmembers.
2) Please make sure your cab is electrically safe. This means: a grounded plug (German style) in good condition, mains wire in good condition and please make sure all the metal parts on your cab are connected to GROUND (check the wires to CP's especially !)
3) ALL groups are equipped with earth-leak switches. Any bad grounding situations on cabs may trigger these !!
This may not happen in your home or gameroom, but _can_ surface when connected at the clubhouse. This is another reason to make sure everything is in order.
