Yes, but there's another thread about it guys.....
I still would like to see hands WHO will load up one (or maybe a couple) of their cabs, drive across europe and then have it there for a weekend ?
I'm all for it, I've done crazier things.
Anyway, back on topic. I know that building very well. It's the ABN-AMRO building and I worked on the access control system VERY VERY long ago. I had a nice pass (naturally !) that allowed me to park in the garage there 24/7 (not that I used it much out of worktime, I mean, it's still 020 (no offense Gyruss

)
Anywayyyyy, got a reply back. They invite me to come over for some talks that happen (see the website) on wednesday nights from 18.00 till 20.00 h.. Pretty poor timing for people who do
a) have a job
b) don't live in the "grachtengordel".....
It's very, very unlikely that I can make it there on those times....but we never know with my work (I am quite often in 020 but you will always see that when you WANT to be there you are nowhere near the place....
But what I would like to know guys, would you put a machine up there, and if so, which one ?
Of course, all kind of night-mare scenarios flash through my mind about what COULD happen, but on the other hand, I've _always_ dragged my machines around to show them/ have them played by people.
It's because I believe the machines were once build to be played, and what's the purpose of having it in a gameroom all year without anyone else playing ?
So I'm not against the idea at all. The MAIN issue is that I would like to be around the cabs as long as they are displayed. We all know that they can fail at times and then there's only one person who knows exactly what to do....
Which leaves out an extended period of exhibition. It might be cool to have one special day there ? Maybe if other Dutchies could help as well ?
