Dragon's Lair / Space Ace / Re: Dragon's Lair Sidam Cabinet project
« on: February 23, 2016, 09:08:00 AM »
Man oh man!!! That's what I'd call a real beauty!!! As soon as I saw it, nostalgia kicked in! I remember spending all of my weekly allowance playing it at the idroscalo theme park in Milan, back in the late 80's!!!!
I swear if I hadn't read the comments above, I wouldn't believe it was not an original sidam cabinet!
It looks amazing, bro! I'm soooooo jealous!!! ; )
Great job bringing a piece of dragon's lair history, back to life!

Dragon's Lair / Space Ace / software corner space ace disc

hi evrybody, as the title says im looking for info on a software corner SA disc.
ive been looking for one for years and ive had no luck so far...i was in touch with a guy who said he owned one but woudlnt send me any pic to prove he did own it, nor would accept less than 800 euros, due to the fact that its so rare.
a part from the attendibility of that guy, do you know if these discs are actually that rare? and what would be, in your opinion, a reasonable price for one?

by the way, im still looking for the amiga software for both DL and SA software corner...i know that you can download the software from dlfans.com but theres no way i can transfer it to the amiga floppy...and god knows i tried! : (

ok so if anyone here has info about the SA disc or the amiga software, that'll be most apreciated!

thanks!

thank for the reply.
the file is on the front page dragonslairfans.com in the section emulate the lair.
i dunno if its cool to post it here.
but anyway its a rar folder and there's just one file in it.
and it's an .adf file.
the other one is just a readme file but there are no instructions.
thanks for your help

thanx guys for your replies.
of course iv got another question! i noticed theres a downloadable file which, if i understood it correctly, should be the amiga software that was included in the software corner kit.
i tried to download it, but how can i turn it into an amiga disk? i know this might be a real stupid question but i really can figure that out.
does anyone have the patience to explin this to me?
or is it possible to purchase the amiga software directly from someone here?
thank you very much
stefano

hey guys, i was checkin on the website and i found the page "emulate the lair" and i was wondering:
as a kid i used to own a software corner kit, and i used to enjoy it soooo much!
but then 1 day the amiga software died & shortly after that, the ldp died too.
but since i still have the disc which is in pristine conditions, it feels like a waste to have it there and not use it.
so, is the Pioneer VideoDisc player CLD 1500 really the only one working with this system?
coz the one i had, had the jog-thing on the right side......im pretty sure i had the Pioneer VideoDisc player CLD 1600, instead.
but before i start hunting for it, i thought of asking you guys this. d'u think it would work with both ldp?

also, the 2 cables that are required and the amiga software, how difficult are they to come by???
thanks evryone.

take care...
stefano
