This is the best version to own... only if you plan to plan the game with Daphne emulator. This version has the best picture/sound quality since the original release on laser disc in '83. In addition you'll able to play some extra footage not included in the original version. Don't expect to have fun if you really want to play the game  on your DVD movie player, with your remote control... the game stops at every move one second to let you choice the action ... unplayable :-(

This game is amazing. You'll enjoy all the original Dragon's Lair characters & environement, but in 3D. For the first time, you'll able to move Dirk like you want. I mean it's not a sequence of move to memorize, but it's a real arcade game 'a la tomb raider'. Note that is one of the first games done in cell shading ever made.

Dragon's Lair III ? Why not... In this 'new Dirk adventure', the game environment is in 3D... The same Dragon's Lair 3D engine has been used to build the stages -as simple video- in the game. But you won't be able to move Dirk like the Dragon's Lair 3D version. You'll have to choose the correct move in the correct time frame, like the original game. The best stages are the one copied from the 83' original version, but in 3D. Fun to discover them in a new look. But for the rest... :-(
