your work is very impressive  :) I strongly suggest you to create a company for selling 'scratch built replica' classics. I'm SURE it will have a certain success here, in Europe... because this era is the one of the REVIVAL, and most of the 'classics' cabinets are now extremely hard to catch, even for the collectors like us, so imagine a simple fan of arcade game  ::) Mission impossible for him  :P

Yes Bruno it's a great idea, but impossible to do  :-\ :-[.... where to find original pieces? (coin door, control panel, bezel etc...) and especially CRT monitors

another thing... the final price to the potential customer

amazing job, scr33n, really amazing. how do you create those curves on the bezel?

Thanks Ully, very simple if you use MDF wood, believe me

Yeah ! , thats what i mean when i say "replica bezel" , AWSOME job !!!!   :spaceace:

Thanks Etienne!!!

The right color (Blue RAL 5010) taken from these 2 old track & field control panel latch (blue is darker, damn digital camera ):

first coat of blue and white:

second coat ... the white is perfect  :-* :-* Blue is a bit better  but in my opinion needs at least three coats of paint

ok, tomorrow the third hand of blue  :P

hmm strange the blue doesn't cover better, maybe even a 4 stroke is necessary  ::)
Are you painting the other parts at the same time, the speakers grill and the other parts?

somehow the blue doesn't seem to cover completely ...

by the way: how did you choose the blue colour? did you have it colour-matched to the artwork?
