I only received an email that they are looking forward to my arrival and I also booked via their homepage....so this is the difference in the way the Dutch treat the Germans and the Hungarians

lol - i think they got a message from the hotel in hilversum about the german gathering outside with 5+ crates of beer :-)

btw... i also got the only "look forward for your arrival" email...

but this email is more than i ever got from other hotels i booked :-)

Just got of the phone with the hotel. The difference is that people who have subscribed for a "Valk acount" get the free welcome drink.

So I guess Bela did this (maybe a few years ago already ? ) either at the reception or maybe on the website ?

Anyway, that's the reason for the difference

So go get a "Valk account" for free drinks and lots of spam mails

But of course I called them !!! We are Dutch after all....free is good AND nothing but the best for Eurocade guests

We brought raw herring from Holland to Milano last summer in something like this:

When we staid over for a night we asked if we could put it in the Hotel's cooler, which was OK

Marco is still alive so I guess the herring survived OK

Talking about herring: Monkfish will bring some nice herring and other fish snacks...and also some smoked salmon as a side dish for dinner, MJAM !!!

Gravitar is not going to make it after all, it's too quirky. Also I noticed the spot killer is not working and I don't want to burn a hole in the tube....sorry

For those who travel tomorrow.....have a safe and pleasant journey, the weather will be just great.
Regretfully there is rain predicted for the Saturday and Sunday but temps not too bad.

The car is loaded. ........ Did a test run for 4 hours, everything checked out. ✌ The tl tube was not working, fixed it, bad connection due to heat and age of the whole rigg.

Forgot to lock the control panel so it dropped out while loading the cab, including the back glass 😨😨😨😨😨 it dropped on my shoe and I had a cut in my hand ...... But the glass ended on the carpet in one piece 👍👍👍👍😄😁

Lucky escape, only one wire came loose so we have to solder that back tomorrow. Is there a soldering iron available?
