i do have a little problem with their normal rates. 155 Euros per night without breakfast... that is definately a bit too much if you ask me. Smiley

Oh.. I didn't know that was the normal rate. I agree.  shock

No idea where you got that price from. If it was from a sheet on the door of the room than you can ignore that, those are theoretical prices as I've seen so often in many hotels, they are always way too high for some reason.

I checked online and these are the current prices:

Even so, hotel room rates are often negotiable these days, they are happy to fill rooms.

I think we did get a very reasonable deal for sure and the hotel was better than I had expected. It was also brilliant that it is at walking distance.

Yeah.....one of the evaluation points....but that was not their fault.

We asked around if people wanted to have some dinner arranged and AFAIR you were the only one to reply....we couldn't arrange a 30 person meal on that basis of course.

I also said Laurent and I would eat with the group, but you'll need way more response indeed

I didn't get you wrong Smiley

The price was really a steal IMHO, even cheaper than the Van der Valk Hotel we "normally" use at Eurocade Ridderkerk. However, that one is even better. At 75 Euro per room per night that is still a good price IMHO. Also, they wouldn't have turned us down when we showed up with 30 people to eat.... Embarrassed
