The Eurocade team has struck a great deal with the Golden Tulip Inn hotel especially for Eurocade visitors! !!
You guys get a room for only €60 per night incl. Breakfast. So if you are with 2 persons you pay only €30 each!
The hotel is at walking distance from Sound & Vision and offers free parking and free WiFi.
If you bring a child upto 12 years they offer an extra bed in the room for just €10 extra, which also includes breakfast.
Note that tourist tax may be added but that is usually a very small amount.

The hotel is located 2 minutes from the Sound & Vision building and about 10 minutes walking from the city center.
So everybody that stays in the hotel can party their ass of without worrying about driving home.. ;D
And as Andre mentioned before you only pay 60 euro's for a 2 person room incl. breakfast.

Arch booked a room for us, but it says double room. Does that mean one double bed or two singles? :lol:

Just got of the phone with the Manager Frans, he apologized for the misunderstanding and is going to talk to the person responsible for this.

Normally, the Eurocade offer would end on september 1 but we'll do our best to get a bit more time from the hotel manager.
HOWEVER, if you have been on the brink to book, do so NOW because we can _NOT_ guarantee that you will get the rebate, or even that you still will have a room at this hotel !
Remember, it's just a couple of minutes walking down from Sound & Vision and there will be a nice "Eurocade crew" staying there, which is always fun :)

great. i will book my room tomorrow. wanna stay one night from saturday till sunday. too bad i can not stay longer or arrive earlier cause we will get GTA 5 at this weekend in our store. :(

No kidding guys, we just got word from the hotel that they only have 5 [FIVE] rooms left !!!
Even so, we managed to get the OK to extend the special EUROCADE offer until september 6 !!
We are also working on the "saturday evening after the movie" program....guess you guys will be hungry by then.....would there be any interest to have a meal together in the hotel ? There's also a bar there so that part is probably already covered ;)

That's a great idea but would prefer to go to an ordinary restaurant where I'm able to have more than one beer with a soup ;D ;)

Talked to the hotel manager this evening and was able to arrange another deal!
We will have 3 apartments available on Saturday, 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel (and the location).
Same price as the hotel rooms: 60,- euro's for one night including breakfast.
Please tell him the secret password: EUROCADE. ;)

I visited the manager today and he's very happy with your visit. The bar will be open all night for you guys... :)

I think this is a better option, located closer and I guess it's cheaper too. Only 3 minutes drive by car from the event, or 3 minutes by train (one stop)

I must say that the hotel deal was great value for money! Arch and I got a spacious and nice room, and the breakfast buffet was delicious! I would recommend the Tulip Inn to anyone who's going to Hilversum. :)

it was indeed a great deal for us. everything was nice, clean and perfect for us.
i do have a little problem with their normal rates. 155 Euros per night without breakfast... that is definately a bit too much if you ask me. :)

No idea where you got that price from. If it was from a sheet on the door of the room than you can ignore that, those are theoretical prices as I've seen so often in many hotels, they are always way too high for some reason.

Even so, hotel room rates are often negotiable these days, they are happy to fill rooms.
I think we did get a very reasonable deal for sure and the hotel was better than I had expected. It was also brilliant that it is at walking distance.

Yeah.....one of the evaluation points....but that was not their fault.
We asked around if people wanted to have some dinner arranged and AFAIR you were the only one to reply....we couldn't arrange a 30 person meal on that basis of course.

The price was really a steal IMHO, even cheaper than the Van der Valk Hotel we "normally" use at Eurocade Ridderkerk. However, that one is even better. At 75 Euro per room per night that is still a good price IMHO. Also, they wouldn't have turned us down when we showed up with 30 people to eat.... :-[
