oh wow... great!
Looking for Dragons Lair 1 or 2, Space Ace, Double Dragon, Robotron and yeah... a Shinobi would be cool, too!

most of the times I understand why people like things, but this time I don't

It's the Nintendo game in a far less nice cabinet

It must be the rareness and the fact it's done by Atari

I would still have my US cab over this one any day , but I do like this Atari one as I like the shape of those cabs anyway, and it has all the art which is cool .

But you can't beat Nintendo for sure

Bingo ! You know I love Atari. And I've always found it fascinating when Nintendo and Atari's paths crossed. That's why I love to see the big "by Nintendo" on the DK and DKjr Atari 800 cartridges.....and on the game screen.

And I love the story how it was almost Atari who would have marketed the NES with the Atari brand on it all around the world except for Japan.....would we still have the Atari name today if that deal went through....? Imagine the Atari Wii ;)

And then I discovered the flyer for this machine.....so cool to see Nintendo licensing Atari just for the European market only...it's just.....very special.
Just love to see both logo's on that side-art :)

And personally, I don't like the Nintendo cab shape that much at all....it's a weird shape and it's uncomfortable for European players. The Atari machines are designed for taller people I guess....but I'm not so sure about this "midi" version.

Its the same Cab Atari used for the licensed Time-Pilot by Konami.
not very big. I used to play it sitting on a barstool.

Keep it far from me Bruno......if I'd get my hands on one of those I might be tempted to convert it to a Popeye ;)

Just kidding......would be pretty hard without scans of the artwork.

I also wonder if there is a regular Nintendo board-set in the machine and how it's powered ("Atari style" or different).

Inside pics is what we need, scans is what we need.... :)

i do own the very same time pilot... but if i get the chance to get another one... i might convert it to an Atari Popeye... that would be fun. :)
