Nevertheless....this is HOT STUFF, Ully!! :)

thx guys, hot as hell

Is it difficult to handle the vinyl?

not really, you just have to take your time (best to do it with a second person) and prepare the surface as flat / smooth and clean as possible. i can't even begin to tell you how much i prefer vinyl over paint!
all i need is ... PONG - and a select few others: TOUCH ME, DRAGON'S LAIR, JOUST, ROBOTRON, MR DO, SAN FRANCISCO RUSH THE ROCK!!!

it's been a looong time coming, but finally donkey kong and donkey kong junior ARE DONE. well, there is a minor sound issue on DK, but i hope to have it fixed shortly. for now, enjoy a few pics of those beauties

btw, i'm more than thrilled how my swap of colors came out. imho, this is the way those color schemes were meant to go together, but i can already hear andré moaning in the background ... :P

got some nice, original collectible donkey kong figures from the 1980s which make perfect keyring hangers! look how different mario still looks when compared to what he is today ...

up next: DK3 , Space Firebird and Radar Scope
all i need is ... PONG - and a select few others: TOUCH ME, DRAGON'S LAIR, JOUST, ROBOTRON, MR DO, SAN FRANCISCO RUSH THE ROCK!!!

You bet.

Factory mint my ass !

You are screwing history.

Its like painting Mona Lisa's dress in pink because you prefer that color....

It is wrong in every kind of way.

What is next, a green Radar Scope ?

But of course all of that is just MHO. ;D

That Mario doesn't look happy about it either, looking very angry and waving his blaming finger at you.

Jr. looks like he can't hold his vomit.....

Not a fan of the orange DK, but the JR looks very sweet!

I have no problem with the orange one, 4 red cabs would have been boring next to each other. :D
Well done Ully!!! :spaceace:
(I also used orange for my latest project) ;)

I love these colors.

Apart from sticking to the Original colors, which could be a debate on its own, i think they came out very nice.
