The second

Yes, I got the confirmation from BusterBill :

93年 means year 93

4月  means april

Now, this Theater has a birth date   8)

>機器番号  / Serial Number    : 223 - 205

>Very interesting. What does it means ? Is it the number 205 for a total of 223 Theater worldwide ?

I think...
223 : type number (Ex. PACMAN,Galaga,Galaxian3 )
205 : S/N   (this is 205th)

if it is number 205 for a total of 223,  we often use "205 / 223" .

"this is Asset management number, I think.
I often see this panel with a Game machines other than made by Namco at Game center of Namco.
and I don't see this panel with Game machines by Namco at Game center that is not Namco."

...so I presume it's not the true serial number of this Theater, but only a kind of 'inventory' number given to all the game located in some Namco Game Center  :?

Ok, that's interesting anyway... I got this Theater in Belgium and I know it was Namco UK who assembled it back in these days. So maybe Namco Japan sent the Theater directly to Belgium and required official Namco technicians to come from Uk (I don't thing there was any official Namco office in Belgium) in order to assemble it ? Anyway, I have the email of one of the two technicians in UK who assembled my theater so many years ago  :P I'll send him a mail with a link to this topic, maybe he can help us on this  ;)

An other thing that can prove my G3 is a Japanese model : I have several pictures of Galaxian Theater coming from US, by example this one :

...and as you can see, the outside colors are blue & grey ... but my Theater's colors are blue & yellow, like the pictures I saw from Galaxian Theater in Japan... by exemple the one of Ikke and his friend (maybe it you, Tom#2, the second owner of the 'beast' ?  :P:arrow: Blue & Yellow.

Many thanks for all these precious informations  :-* ...the story is not over of course  8)

I saw GT-6 in Niagara in Canada in 1998.
An outside color was a gray. The chair was different shape.

What we have, and GT-6 in the photograph of DarthNuno is the same type, and a color. The character of the signboard has been changed from Japanese to English. Perhaps, GT-6 for Europe might have been made in Japan. And, it is thought that GT-6 for US/Canada is what Namco in the United States made it. Therefore, it is thought that the color and shape are different.

Yes, here pictures for the GT-6 located at FunWorld (Nashua New Hampshire USA) :

The seats are not the same than the Japanese model

So I would say the GT-6 in Europe were the same version than the Japanese one. The US version has some little differences (color of the sides, shape of the seats, and maybe other things ? )

For this one :

機器番号  / Serial Number    : 223 - 205

Very interesting. What does it means ? Is it the number 205 for a total of 223 Theater worldwide ?
[/color]

Ok I've looked ad some Namco game I have....
Motocross GO!  308-959 (1997)
Motocross GO!  308-940
Panic Park        316-543 (1997)

So far the teory of model-serial seem good, BUT

Rapid River       308-581   (1997)

We got 308 again... it's somthing strange....

All my game came from asian area (some from Japan some from Taiwan)

I don't know what it is... Game build in Italy or Europe under license from Namco did not have that plate.
All but Panik Park have also a sticker (with another code) that tell the game is an "Namco Original product" or somethink like that.

See ya ANY
