what games do you play on it?

Everything...

Currently have it horizontal with Green Beret loaded (Jamma+ competition). Lots of Final Fight, Bubble Bobble 2, TumplePop and The Simpsons recently, mainly because the kids love those ones.

Had a long stint vertically with Twin Cobra in it (until I managed to loop it).

Get the boys round and shove Tekken 2 and SF2T in there. It is the perfect machine for 2 player fighters.

What I really need to do is finally get off my ass and put my rotary sticks on my spare CP and get some Ikari Warriors going on.

And just out of curiosity, which DLF members do actually own one or more Japanese Candy cabs?

Gyruss does (duh).
I do, 3x.
Psykick does, more then one (of course)  :)
Elpancho has a whole row of them.
Punkrockcaveman?
.....

Anyone more? Don´t be embarrassed, come out of the closet.  ;D

 ;D
Currently i also own an Egret 3 with new quadrisynch monitor.

Ok....
Now don't kill me please...

They are indeed the official LS-30 rotary sticks. I got a pair of NOS ones from a member on Jamma+ a couple of years ago.

These ones (not actually the ones I own):

"O schatje, zullen we vandaag weer op de Candy kast spelen ?"
"O ja liefje, wat een super goed idee ! Welke speler ben jij vandaag popje, baby-blauw of gay-roze ?"

 ;D ;D ;D

OK, enough hate, serious question:

By the way, why are all the P1 buttons and joystick blue, the P2 buttons purple but joystick blue ? I mean either everything should be blue (which would be much nicer IMHO) or the P2 joystick should also be

I will have a Naomi net dimm set in a few weeks, to use in the Blast City. Would love to see pics how you connected your setup in the NAC.

Candies are not my taste aesthetically but they are the one and only way to experience cave shooters + they are really convenient low maintenance machines compared to my other "old guys".
For all these reasons, I'm sure I'll get one one of these days, congrats Gyruss!

Coincidentally, my girlfriend offered me this morning a japanese candy!
It's a japanese Kit Kat with a light green tea flavour and it's delicious.
Guys, I think this is a sign from The Arcade GodsTM....

It's an acquired taste indeed!
Damn, you're so old school I'm sure you still have a stash of 80's Raider's somewhere in your gameroom.
"The Twix taste exactly the same", André, I repeat: "the Twix taste exactly the same". ;D ;D ;D
