Bruno,
I love the red way more than the blue (I am now going to steal your colour scheme for my DK project, hope you don't mind)
Looks AWESOME
Mine is also going to be a MAME job.

Great.....
Bruno, one question:
what kind of t-molding you've used for the cab?
5/8" t-molding:
http://www.mikesarcade.com/cgi-bin/store.pl?sku=TMW58IN
or
9/16" flat t-molding
http://www.mikesarcade.com/cgi-bin/store.pl?sku=TMWF916IN
Thanks...

Yop
I got the T-molding from the twistedquarter ebay shop, and the right reference is :
Nintendo 9/16" WHITE T-molding **Brand New** 20 ft.
20 feet is enough for doing all the cabinet by the way

Couicks
Now... this is a great moment... I'll apply the new repro side arts
First, I've to find the exact location on the side before applying them... ok
Here's the procedure :
(As you'll see on the coming pictures, this is my wife who are doing all the job
)
And now... the big moment... let's see how the sticker looks like, without his protection...
...
BEAUTIFULL
Ok, let's do the same work for the other side
I love Nintendo
Stay tuned for the last details

Today, let's "refresh" this old coin door :
In order to do the job, here's the tools of the day :
This time, I'll do the job manually, see this vid'
*Beware* a lof of dust with this method !
The most part of the job is done...
...but I've to finish the work manually, because there are some areas almost impossible to reach with the drill, and in order to have an homogeneous finish before applying the new paint :

Here's my method to paint *inside* my house... this 'custom' box
As usual, PRIMER first
Once it's done, I'll apply to layers of 'black satin' paint... here's the result
Here's the original screws from the frame's coin door. Dirt & Rust
Not a problem... 24 hours in a 'rust remover' bath...
..and they look like new

It's amazing to see how you restore a rusty coin door to a like-new state. Great work!

The work on the coin door is not over. Now let's fix this
The usual bath in order to remove dust & rust :
24 hours later
Now, I sand everything, except the 'return coin' push button...
...which I'm protecting it like that...
...before applying the paint.
Primer first
Let's try something new... "hammerfinish silver" paint
One layer will be enough, this paint is very thick. Beware, fresh paint
Done

I'm using Advance Mame 0.90 + Advance Menu under pure DOS.
When I boot the cab, I got this menu
Here's what I can play on this cab
Opsss... one game is missing on this cab...
... and maybe the most important one for me ...
CRAZY KONG
Yes, I remember playing it when I was young, even more than the original Donkey Kong game from Nintendo...
Ok, but it's a *pain* to remove the computer from the cab now, add a CD-Rom drive on it or a floppy drive... because it's a full DOS configuration in it
Here's the solution : Let's replace the HDD by a compact flash card and its IDE converter
I copy all the file from the HDD to the compact flash card... I add the Crazy Kong rom... and I also make a backup of everything
Let's boot on it now
Yehawww
Live will be more easy now

Great work.
Have you seen the new Donkey Kong 2 rom hack.
http://www.jeffsromhack.com/products/d2k.htm
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWaT8WmoDis
I do not know if the roms can just be renamed to work in mame yet as I have not been able to obtain a copy.
Maybe they wll be included mifitmame.
