Exactly how I thought it would be ! Only a small dent in the rollers because it has not been played that much but rusted as hell because of the salty sea-air.
That unit can easily be restored. Take is apart completely. There is an excellent drawing in the manual if you forget how to re-assemble it.
Order new rollers and bearings from Bob Roberts.
http://TheRealBobRoberts.net/parts.html#tbs(You need the Atari TB kit (Rollers & bearings) 4" for $30)
His rollers are the only one's of stainless steel (so will never rust again

) AND he greases and breaks in the bearings so you don't have to do that.
(Do NOT remove the grease when your receive them !!! I love the smell

)
So....everything is "plug & play" from Bob....
I can't really see on the picture but it looks like the ball itself isn't half bad and could be fine with just some cleaning. The frame looks like it will be fine again with some light sanding.
While ordering from Bob get some new carriage bolts for it too (with which it is mounted to the CP.
Also check the encoder wheel if it is not too rusted. If there's much rust in the holes it could interfere with the good working.
Also remove the connectors on the optic boards (the small pcb's) and check the pins for rust. DO BOTH and ALSO the connector that goes to the main harness. This way you check them all but will also "wipe off" some possible rust you hardly see.
Bob also has replacement encoder wheels (check for size though) and harnesses.
For the optic boards, you will have to wait until the game runs to see if they still work OK. Let me know if they don't.
It's a shame I don't have the MC cabaret anymore as I could have done a lot of testing on it for you

If you want I can check / rebuild the TB and AR-II board though, both are the same on my Centi.
